TRT effect on fat loss with proper diet?

From my understanding this takes 12 to 16 weeks to start and yes I've read the article that shows 36% fat loss. From a personal point of view how many of you have had a good result? And could you really notice the difference?

Yes - without a dought TRT will lead to fat loss and lean muscle gain. BUT, you must follow a strict diet plan and workout regimen. TRT on its own is not majic.

I started TRT and went on a high protien carb cycling diet and lifted 5x a week. The results were dramatic. I posted before and after pics and was immediately accused of Photoshoping - yes the results were that drastic. I'm over the hill and had visable abs for the first time in my life.

I went from 25-30% body fat to around 8-9%. This did not happen overnight and occurred over 12 months. Some of this time was getting the diet dialed in.

Can't stress enouph - diet is king; regardless if your goal is dropping weight or building lean muscle mass.

Also - if you post up details about your current body fat, weight age, goals and diet pan, you will get a lot of great feedback from the members here. Don't feel likebyou need to go not alone.

To directly answer your question - I had great results and yes, i absolutely noticed a difference and still continue to ~a year later. As stated, diet and exercise are paramount but given those are on point and you go from garbage T levels to optimal levels...night and day.

Oh I am way overweight. Doctor said about 37 to 40% body fat. My problem came in when I graduated. I put on 120 lbs within 18 months. I was still working out the whole time but I just couldn't get any weight off even with a good diet. Now at 26 after testing thyroid all these years my doc checked my Test levels and they were Down to 228. He said that's my problem and it should fix my weight if I continue to work out and eat right. Been in a month and I feel better but have t really see. anything as far as helping much with fat loss except I get hungry as hell about 2 hours after injection

You've come to the right place. There's some awesome dude's on here that can help (I'm not one of them lol).
Couple things that will get you way better answers on here...

You gave your age and body fat - 26, and 37%
weight / height- ?
Training protocol - how many days, whats your routine, how long do you exercise, cardio, etc.
Diet - detail out your meals, meal times, calories, macros, TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), etc.
TRT - what's your protocol (injection amount, schedule, hcg?, AI?)
Can you share blood test results? - black out personal info and post, or type em the old fashioned way - include reference ranges.

Again, not the expert so expect some more questions, but this should get the guys that help the most started. Wish you all the luck in the world man, sounds like you're trying to turn this around.

PS - 3J has a fabulous reputation on here for building very intricate and specific customized diet plans, may be worth a shout out. Never used him (I take all his free info though), but his reputation is flawless.

It helped me get active back in the gym and yes I was abe to shed 2 pounds in a month. That's a good news for me.
But TRT is worrying me in other ways.

Three years on TRT. Age 73. Body fat went from about 16-17% to about 12%. Best muscle definition I have ever had. I did not change my diet at all.

I can give you the before but he hasn't done any since I started. I've Been on TRT going on 3 months now. The only thing I can honestly say is in the last 2 weeks I've gotten more acne on my face than I've ever had. I feel a lot better I just really hadn't noticed anything specific. I work out 4 days a week. I split my days up as legs/light ab workout/ 20 minutes cardio, chest and biceps/ light ab workout/ light cardio, shoulders/back/tri//light abs, then day 4 is heavy cardio(60 minutes) and heavy ab workout

Acne on your back is very common, especially if you are at the upper range of "normal". I've not heard of many with acne on face.

What does your current bloodwork look like? Specifically your TT and estrogen.

3 months is still way early in your TRT journey. Give it a year , get your diet and training in check and you will be a whole new person.

Complete opposite. My back has none. My chest has 3. My face is broke out bad. I've already dropped some weight (thank god) but I was curious to see if you'd feel any different or had dramatic results start showing once you hit about 16 weeks in. And I wish I had labs. My doc gave me these and scheduled an appointment 4 months out to see how I'm doing
