Is it possible to get "ripped to the bone" without the use of drugs. I have tried every type of diet/exercise combo I can find withiut results. I am of average build. My bodyfat runs at 18%. Am I doomed to this size and shape forever?

Some people just have shitty genetics bro, hate to say that, but I also include myself in that group.

Next, it really depends on what you mean by "drugs." Are you talking about AAS, ph's, otc fat burners, clen, etc. We need to know what you mean by that term.

Third, it is possible to get very low bodyfat without "drugs" but you have to have a good, check that, great diet, do plenty of cardio, and weight train.

Also, have you been giving the diet and exercise programs time to really work, or have you just been hitting the "miracle" programs that are supposed to make you arnold in a month? Changes take time and lots of it.

By drugs I mean the typical potions used by competetive bodybuilders during the cutting cycle.
My current workout is very short, high intensity strength/size oriented, my diet is mostly protien (alot of protien). Not ATKINS but not far off.
No sugars etc....

Thanks for responding

I went from 21% bf to 9,6 % bf in 10 weeks WITHOUT drugs, it is all about your diet and cardio!

It is very possible to get ripped without Drugs of any kind. A good diet and lots of cardio is all you need. Drugs can help speed up the process.

If you plan to be a competitive bodybuilder...you should plan on using LARGE doses of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) without off time.

And as a freshman in high school I went from 198 to 143 (also 36% to 12% in that period of time) in 5 or 6 months by increasing cardio and cutting (a whole shitload of) calories. You can do it, but it takes time.

I really never had to resort to cardio to bring down my body fat %.. i've been swimming since i was 6 so i'm perfectly cut to my build with some 6-9% body fat.

But I have had a friend overweight who just laid off all the white bread, excess sugars and sweets and has lost a lot of weight within 3 months and is lookin great.

He's a muthfuckin pimp now..

Yessir, excess carbs will pack it on ya. When I was still trying to be a non fatass, I got down to 165 by May of my freshman year, decided I needed 20 more pounds down, and cut out soft drinks all together. I only drank 3-4 per day before that (as opposed to friends who'd drink 7-8 and not think twice), and by the time school started the next fall, I was an astounding 143. Playing offensive tackle, no less.

The simplest way to cut carbs/sugars is by cutting soft drinks, as I mentioned earlier. Figure, each 12oz can of Dr. Pepper or Coke has roughly 28 g sugar, and Pepsi is around 30g.

Some cans have more then others yeah but the lowest sugar gram amount ive ever seen on a can of pop is 36-49

Anybody know how a gram of sugar equates to a tablespoon dosage? Interested in being able to use this kinda info in discouraging my soda usage. It would help in seeing tablespoons loaded with sugar each and every time I wanted to have a soda w/ meals...

For the average yearly intake in America, from sodas alone, don't bother with picturing a tablespoon.........make that a five gallon bucket.

cardio will help bring down your bf but if you're like me then when u lift u will burn lots of bf and strengthen your muscles

seriously, listen to these guys when they talk about diet, it's #1 over all supplements. sugar is your worst enemy and i personally only drink water. since i started college i gained 25 pounds of muscle on basic supps like protein powders and amino acids and a while after i started cardio i finally hit my goal of 7% bodyfat. if you really want to lose bodyfat just drink water, do cardio, weight train, and eat with a healthy conscious mind. don't eat to compliment your tongue, eat to compliment your body.
