Unproportionate biceps to triceps help

If your gym doesnt have one,i encourage you to ask them to get one,a Swiss Bar,i love the one we have it is a master of helping build tricep mass, better than a regular BB,its easier on your shoulder joints and also helps your overall bench press, but i love this one,you can lift more weight using the 4 spaced out handles

I agree with DADAWG heavy close grip(with boards, bands, poweracks,BB floor close grip bench, etc) decline, incline Skullbusters,DB Floor pronated presses...all mass builders for tri's

From what my physical therapist told me they put too much stress on your shoulders. That our shoulders were not meant to handle that much weight with that type of movement.

This is correct. you're actually protruding your shoulders in a manner that isnt healthy for the joints and surrounding tissue when doing dips. Skull crushers and glose grip bench achieve a similar, more correct movement without harming your shoulders.

yea thats what my PT told me as well,i dont do Dips anymore, thats why i mentioned that Swiss Bar,i use it for all of my close grip benching

WRONG

go to a high end powerlifting meet and you will see the thickest most muscled up dudes you have ever seen and most of them couldnt count past 10 because they have never done that many reps.before you argue , most of the most massive bodybuilders di do [powerlifting to add their mass including ronnie and dorian.

kick backs and cable extensions make fine excercises for your clients but compound moves done havy and lower reps add mass.

That's a common misconception. the lower rep and set range is ideal for strength building not size building. I'm not saying that those variables wont add size. never said that at all.but if youre looking for for size and definition, then 6-12 reps and 3-5 sets is ideal. they could in fact be doing 3 sets of 6 reps at 85% which is still within the variables that i would recommend to a client wanting to add size. you yourself said powerlifters use the rep and set range you suggest. this guy isnt trying to be a powerlifter.

*note i did mention max strength in my earlier post in succession to hypertrophy will add size.

Im sure ronnie and dorian are still doing behind the neck barbell presses, dips and plie squats which are also biomechanically incorrect.

bottom line is, any kind of resistance exercise on a regular basis is going to change your physique. but who are you gonna listen to, a gym rat or someone who's studied the field for years and has trained in the field for years.

Bullseye Swiss and the cumber bar is that one in the same? I also do skull crushers and right after that set I do close grip press 10and of each reps 3 sets as a superset.

Elite FTS

I usually start with close grip bench press(decline, incline, flat switch every month)then do skullcrushers(incline,decline,flat-switch every month) and finish of with tricep pressdown(straight bar,v-bar,rope-switch every month)

personnal trainers crack me up . ive been in this game since you were shitting in diapers a fucking internet certificate isnt worth wiping your ass with.just keep bragging on the old ladies pumping out reps with those 5 pound weights lol.

A personal trainer doesnt need the rep power for me to believe what theyre telling me. Becoming a personal tainer takes lots of work, work that someone shouldn't forget.

Anybody can become knowledgable in weightlifting/diet/steroid use over the years of experience they have, but a personal trainer has the upper hand early on. Perhaps
over the years a trainer will be smarter than you at your age due to the more knowledge they had in the beginning of their fitness career.

No need to get mad, if your not gonna leave some tips then buzz

I actually studied 6 years in the field and I've been training longer than that. I have enough clients with lasting results to add a 100,000 "rep power". Sure you can BUY a certificate but those idiots have no business training anyone. I'm not trying to brag on my academics and training experience. This guy asked a question and I gave him the correct info based on my experience, knowledge, proven science and proven studies. No need to throw your weight around. You're a moderator. Moderate. There was 20+ views on this thread before I put my two cents in.

To the OP, I gave you good advice. You can take it or leave it. It bothers me none. Many will tell you different. The moderator doesn't have enough knowledge to have an educated argument with me hence why he started bashing me.

OP, you're looking pretty good, lean.....but i definately can see your Tri's are lacking.

Stickto the majority advice you've been given.....heavy closegrip, skulls, bench dips. it takes time.
