Hey does anyone know the best exercises for the upper, inner chest area.Im presently doing flat bench press and incline dumbells, but this doesnt seem to activate the upper chest area enough to promote any growth...(I need to keep my routine to two exercises per body part).

Tips and advice welcome..:40oz:

Yeah i was thinking of trying incline bench with a slightly narrower grip than normal...

yeah, do what has been mentioned before, and even mess with the angle on the incline to stress the uppers more than the delts. Also, i get good inner pec work from flyes, along with the outer pec work you get from that.

Incline, incline, incline. Flies, presses, everything on an incline (well, most of it....you need to keep doing flat/decline stuff too). Try anything and everything you can think of, jacking with angles and grips, to reps and sets.

you can also try flat bench with the smith machine 25 plate under the head of the bench for a slight incline bring the bar to the neck -- learned this from a guy who completely changed his chest at the gym-- cant go heavy but it works-- other than that incline movements all the way bro

What about for lower pecks. Decline seems to work my shoulders more than anything. Lower is what I lack.

shredded -- weighted dips are 100 percent better that decline press imo -- i think the decline press is a waste

Almost everyone does the typical flat bench, incline DB .. but IMO that is only 30% of what you should do. I use DB pullovers to fill out the inside and the base of the chest. Make sure your arms are extended as far as possible during the stretch. I also do heavy and wide wide wide incline flies .. these are critical. Finally no chest workout should be without "wide" weighted dips .. 5-7 real slow, real heavy with the last rep/set a killer negative.

Good luck.
