I am very new to all this and need some help. Im 29 and have low T my Dr. has me self injecting 1ML every 2 weeks. I have a few questions that the Dr. just really wont give me a straight answer on.Will this effect me having kids in the future? I have been on this for about 4 months now and at first I felt amazing everything was back to where I was before I got vericicle my energy sex drive and my ed was fixed...but now its not as effective I went back to him and told him this he said that it was normal. is that normal?? iv tried researching it all myself but its just all overwhelming and I don't understand it really. Iv read that you should do it once a week with some other things with the shot?? iv read something about taking I think it was chlomide to help with the side effects and keeping estrogen levels down? I just don't know and want a better understanding but need it simple and easy to understand. any advice would help and be appreciated.

Do you have pre starting trt bloodwork results?

Read that you will get a lot from it.

Now 1ml 200mg right?

You are going to be on a hormonal rollercoaster.

I would split it 100mg .5 ml every week. Your e2 estradiol is probably not going to be high on that dosage but only blood work will tell you that.

As for fertility it's possible that's why it would probably be a good idea to be on HCG. Keeps the testes on not completely shut down

Labs and look for Prolactin. It can cause difficult orgasms. It will all comeback.

PS: as stated above post: "You are going to be on a hormonal rollercoaster"

thanks for the help.. and the overview it was a good read. my Dr. has the blood work he never gave me a copy ill have to wait til next Dr. app. to get it. im not sure on the ml/mg all I know is to fill the needle to the 1 and the needle is in ml...but I draw it out of a 200 mg/ml bottle? as for the hormonal rollercoaster I am on it and want to get off lol. some days I feel great and everything is fine and the next im down and out my sex drive is gone and I cant get as hard as I should. can I buy hcg or is it prescribed by a Dr. ? Iv came here to get help because I feel as tho my Dr. doesn't really know what hes doing and the worst part is I really cant get another Dr. opinion because he is the only speacialist within 100 miles of the town I live in. the guy hasn't checked my levels since iv been on trt and its been almost 6 months and I don't go back for another 3 so in total it will be 9 months befor I know what exactly the trt has done is that normal? its weird putting trust in another person who iv never met but my Dr. just seems clueless. is there any thing I should definitely take or do to keep my est down?

You need to calm down and take it easy. (Me saying that LOL).

Your need to get bloodwork to see what's going on before you try to take an AI for e2 adjustment cause you don't know if that's the issue or take prami for a prolactin issue.

Go back and re read the sticky it's all in there.

You can get the blood work yourself pvtmdlabs post the results here and the guys will help reading them.

As for what to get I'd probably get the male hormone it covers you except for prolactin you have to add that to the order. Once the guys tell you what's going on you can adjust acordingly. You can bring them with you at next Dr appoint and lead him in the right direction of your needs/issues. Tell him you've been educating yourself on trt and you just want to be involved in your treatment.

Look at your vial it should have on it what it is like:

A 1ml or a 10ml or whatever ysize vial you have will say 200mg/1ml something like that.
