water retention

Hi everyone,

I wanted to kow how can I reduce my watre retention. I tend to retain water, especially when I take the airplane. I am on a natural product called expel, but does anyone have any thoughta or reccomendations for me. 2nd questions, how many hours before taking my BMI test shoudl I stop drinking to ensure it doesn't mess my stats up.

If you retain water it could be because you are not getting enough water. How much water do you intake? When you don't drink enough water the body holds onto what it has.

Reducing salt will help as well.

Diuretics and foods that act as natural diuretics can help. For example, tea, coffee, milk, yogurt, etc.

The reason you retain water on an airplane is because you don't circulate your body parts....you don't move around. So moving around alot will help you reduce water in the body. However you don't have much choice on a plane.

As for the BMI test...I'm not sure but I would think first thing in the morning would be ideal.

i drink about 3-4 liters a day. do you have any reccomendations for diuretics that are effective?
 
One of the best ingredients in the old ephedrine Hydroxycut is a herb called "Dandilion Root". It is cheap but you do pee many more times over a day.
