Well honestly I sometimes only use 1 shake a day (PWO) but if for some reason im not hungry (rarely) or i dont have time ill have a pro+carb+fruit shake Pre workout.

The rest of my meals before 6pm are pro+carb meals, very little fat. Mainly egg whites and 1 egg yolk for breaskfast, then red meat the rest of the time. Carbs come mostly from oatmeal, but I also like whole wheat bread and bagels, a well as brown rice and I usually have a sweet potato as my last carb source of the day.

After 6pm its all pro+fat meals...again, usually red meat. The only carbs I get from now until bedtime are veggies. I use fish oil, flax oil, olilve oil, or natural peanut butter or almond butter for fat. And I have an egg yolk before bed as well.

If im out of steak or hamburger, or if I want a change ill have chicken, and every once in a while, even though I hate fish with a passion, ill crave 2 cans of tuna.

It sounds like a lot of food and that id have to force it down, but somehow after eating so much for so long, as soon as im done with my meal im counting the minutes until the next time i get to eat again.

And do you ever stop farting?
Why would I fart a lot? I dont fart anymore than people who eat whatever they want :scratchhe

I've heard that in order to bulk, take 1 gram of protein per lb BW, others say 2 grams. Apparently, this study suggests that the average sedentary American should ingest 61 grams if one was to weigh 170. I can't imagine that what bodybuilders ingest nowadays is actually beneficial. At 61 grams for the average person, I'd assume to double or triple that for an avid lifter.

But like I said earlier, guys here are taking 6 or more times the recommended value. Am I the only one who is willing to challenge this common practice?

Heres the thing everyone is forgetting.... CALORIES COME FROM EITHER FAT, CARBS, OR PROTEIN. SO what the fuck does eating .36g/lb bodyweight leave me eating to maintain bodyweight...? Well lets see Thats 300 calories due to protein I need 166g fat and 375g carbs to maintain my weight. Horeshit.

The rules also state that you shouldn't take in that much fat, so it's more like 80g fat and 570g of carbs. A shitty diet that will make you fat if you ask me.
 
Im going to make this short and sweet. I dont have any studies (at least not the ones Im looking for) to back me up, but lets see how much muscle mass you gain from eating .36g to .8g of protein per lb of bodyweight. Im willing to bet that it will be around 5-10lbs per year. For me... I will keep eating 1.5 to 2g of protein per lb of bodyweight because I am gaining about 5lbs of bodyweight per month. And so are a lot of other bodybuilders that are boat loading the protein each and every meal.

I agree.

I think that articles like that are not valid to everybody. They are done to study the "average" person.
Also, it's very common to read "scientific" articles saying something and then read another "scientific" article saying the opposite.
If that article was true, there wouldn't be a 100% of bodybuilders and powerlifters taking 2g/lb. No one likes to waste his money and protein is not cheap.

Who do these people call bodybuilders in these studies? Average Joes who just started working out? People who have been working out for 6 months? There is plenty of data out there on people up to 1.3g per pound being not only healthy, but beneficial. Studies showing you pussies they call bodybuilders, well feel free to follow their advice if you want to remain a pussy "bodybuilder."
