My paypal account got jacked up and I couldn't play for platinum. I had been paying for a year and half. I asked to get a normal account until I got the problem resolved but they would not do that. Its pretty funny that they would bite the hand that feeds them. Its not like the members need them, they need the members. I guess thats what 3 years of posting will get you.

When they did that to me, I made a long post talking about how I bought the membership solely to support the site, and when it ran out they took my account. So basically if I had never supported the site, I would have kept my account, but cuz I wasnt one of the deadbeats that just complains and never puts any money into it, I got screwed and lost everything....
I put a copy of the post in every major forum at elite, and within 10 minutes my account was back

I was until the beginning of this month. I was never told or given any kind of explanation. Not that I expected any nor do they have to give any reasons.

Having said that, I find it very odd that I posted last week and now my account has been disabled. Like they couldn't wait the 21 days to kill my account.

I didn't post this to bash EF, just to point out how odd their policies have become as of late. It's a shame, too. That board is where I learned and contributed the longest and I had planned on contributing there well into the future. Even after being unceremoniously de-modded, I still wanted to go there and post occasionally. But obviously that ain't gonna happen now.

I am not one for bashing other boards but that place is getting fucking rediculious. They are chasing all their top members away to other boards. I think they are going overboard with all the platinum and advertisment bullshit. IMO they should stick with what got them to #1 rather than changing everthing.
