What do you guys think about these numbers?

Due to being really tired and sluggish for the past year, gains in the gym have been deteriorating, and general well being has declined, I have decided to check if My test is low. I went to my doctor for a physical and requested Free test as well as total test and my numbers came back today:

Free range=7.13 (lab range was 3.8-34.2)

Total = 308 (lab range was 241-827)

Is this something that is within the parameters of qualifying for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? I definitely will think it would be of a benefit and to me, it explains why I have been feeling differently. But I just wanted your guys' opinions since you have experience in this situation. THanks!

BTW im 27 years old

Cycles will shut down your natural T. So if you just got off a cycle, your T will be expected to be low. There are ways to recover. I just saw your post as odd that you ask about what everybody thinks of your numbers, but fail to mention anything about your cycles. That is probably why you have low T, so it's very important. You might not even need HRT.

I tend to agree here. If 300 total is your natural test and you havent fucked with yur hormones then yes , its low. Otherwise, let your natural test come back. try some hcg to kickstart your huevos and then retest after a few months. I was around 160 total before I started trt.

I hear yah but I haven't touched any test for several years. And when I did , it was a conservative approach at no more than 400mg/week. So in other words, my body has had ample time to recover to the best it is going to be. this has led me to check my levels, not with the expectation of needing testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), but just to see where I'm at. I also wanted to post here and compare mine with guys my age and in a similar situation. Thanks for the feedback , it is appreciated. :)

When and what was the last cycle you did? It doesn't have to be Test to shut down your test production

Last cycle was test prop only @ 350mg/week and was about three years ago. It lasted approximately 14 weeks with pct consisting of arimidex + clomid. I would never take anything other than testosterone cycle.

Yea, your low. 27 is young though. I'd get a complete physical and have your dr check your thyroid, nads, pituitary via blood work. Fsh lh tsh. Maybe an MRI . You should be concerned, let your dr know you are, and that you want to find the root cause.

Yeah that's what I'm in the process of doing. Physical was last week, I just called for the test levels. I'm not sure what my thyroid and tsh came back at yet, I will have to wait for a follow up in a few weeks. I'm going to get an endo or uro referral

I agree with the fellas. Look around and try to find the root of the problem. The adrenals produce around 65% of the bodies testosterone. Therefore you could be suffering from adrenal fatigue. Also, how do your thyroid numbers look?? Also, is your estrogen high?? All these can play a factor. I was in your boat. I actually had pituatary trauma and it cause my Low T. I tried a restart and nothing worked. I was 28 years old when I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I decided to do testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) after all restarts did not work. Again, just make sure you try other things and then go from there. If you stay low and all other hormones are good, then I would consider getting on TRT.

Yeah thats a good idea. I know this is not going to happen at my General Practitioner so I need to look at going to a specialist on this.

I havent seen the numbers for the rest of my labs yet but I did speak with my doc over the phone and he said everything else looked good outside of my testosterone being on the low side. So I will still look into why, but according to him my fsh, cbc, cmp, cholesterol, UA, tsh all came back good.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Good or "in range" or normal means nothing to me anymore. Do yourself a favor and get a copy of your labs. The same could be said of t at 308, and we all know that's crap.

Wow, I am almost in the same position as you, as far as previous cycles and age, etc.

My numbers were

Total test 328 (250-1110)
Free 10.0 (9.3-26.5)

I just had a lot of bloodwork with chip, waiting on results
