What does HCG do that Clomid does not?

From what I understand is clomid restarts your testosterone production after AAS. I also thought HCG did the same thing. I was wondering why the need for both is necessary when using test. Can clomid be used during a cycle or only after. how important is HCG if I have Clomid Thanks JBricks!:stickpoke

I am not sure on much on clomid, but I do kno that if you want twins, just take some while trying for a baby! And if your girl is having problems getting prego, tell her to take some!

Clomid in male s is for pct , recovery of natty test production..restoration of the hpta loop and all that..
HCG is used for testiculat atrophy during cycle to make pct more efficient; it also is used as a jump start PRIOR to pct.
2 differant compound with 2 differant applications.
Read up on your ancillary compound s my man.

So if I let my gf take my clomid, our chances of getting pregnant would increase? This is something she keeps asking me.. We've been thinking about having a baby, and she's worried that she can't. Obviously, going to the doctor is the first step, but just curious, that's what it does for women?

clomid stimulates LH and FSH production by the pituitary which in turn stimulates testosterone production and spermatogenesis by the testes.

HCG doesnt stimulate LH, it mimicks LH and directly stimulates testosterone production by the testes. Basically HCG just skips a step.

The cool thing about HCG though is because it is essentially LH, it will still tell the testes to produce testosterone, even in the middle of a cycle when youre shut down and taking exogenous hormones. Clomid wont do that.
