what doesn't effect blood work?

my dr wants to test my baselines before starting new hrt therapy since I've moved and am a new patient for her... what can I take that won't effect test, lh, fsh, hgh, IGF-1 in the meantime? idc of the levels drop, but afraid of a spike ... anavar, masteron, primo??

I will gladly stick around and contribute :)

I knw AAS will suppress LH, test, etc but afraid of spiking igf-1

You answered your own question my man.

I think asking for baselines when a person has been suppressed (potentially causing secondary hypogonadism as it is) is ludicrous. But as you've decided you want to follow this endo's wishes, you're going to have to ride it out. There isn't anything that can relieve your symptoms without affecting the rest of your HPTA.

Mild AAS is AAS nonetheless and will alter your panel results. I wish there was a magical solution for you; but there frankly isn't.

My .02c :)

just for clarity at this point ... there will be a suppression I get, but will there be elevations on the hormone panel due to something like masteron or var? I knw var spikes igf-1, but was curious as to if masteron does too ... and being DHT derived, does that translate to increases in serum test?

Be honest with your doctor and let her know you are not comfortable dropping trt to check baseline. Wouldn't you want your patient to share their worries and concerns with you? My gf was diagnosed with celiacs two years back through blood test. She was referred to a gastro. The gastroenterologist wanted her to go back on a high gluten diet to check how much inflammation and scarring it would cause. My gf was really scared because eating gluten causes her severe abdominal pains and distress. I told her listen, you need to tell her you aren't going back on that fucking diet and she didn't. Sometimes you just gotta stick up for yourself and do what you think it right. You obviously have a problem, talk to your doctor and discuss any other options you might have. I doubt she will not listen to you. If she doesn't you can find another doctor. Good luck :D

P.S. I love endocrinology! I think one day i may pursue a medical career in that field(right now i'm a nurse) Most endos are garbage when it comes to AAS. They specialize in thyroid and diabates after decades of doing the same shit. It's a shame really.

Thats where the demand is. TRT has been around for a while, but only recently have you seen the explosion in popularity. When all the new testosterone creams, gels, implants and patches came out all of a sudden every man over 50 had "low T". Its a money making machine thats only getting bigger. The supply of endocrinologists who specialize in TRT hasn't caught up to the demand, and most likely won't for quite some time.

Halotestin is very mild on HPTA and will not impact IGF-1.

thank you!! do you know about masteron? I have heard masteron increases free T though :/

and I love endocrinology too, it's what I would do if not going into ortho ... I'm actually on an Endo rotation right now and the attendings have been reviewing my case and are the ones who pulled the favor to get me into the top doc out here beause last doc dropped ball on paperwork and jumping insurance hoops and all my meds got pulled by insurance last year and it's been a miserable experience ...

Don't take halotestin. Austinite was merely answering your question of which AAS are mild on HPTA. However you'll notice he didn't advocate taking it. No one here would advise you to take it for the reasons your trying to. Its a rather toxic, limited use steroid.

You could try some herbal shit to tide you over in the mean time, in terms of mood and performance. If i were getting a baseline, i'd like to be completely clean of exogenous hormones, regardless of their effect on the hpta. Ginseng, maca, yohimbine, maybe tribulus.

Don't think you can wait out the 13 days to your appointment or get it moved up?

How about just taking some adderral in the time being to help you focus?
