What gives results the best

Training body part twice a week or once a week...opinions

i do parts twice a week sometimes depending how sore the specifer body part is
 
Depends on alot of things. Age, Genetics, Experience, Diet, "Supplementation" ......just to name a few. Whatever you do, don't take Ronnie Coleman's ( or some other pro's) workout routine out of a mag and think it'll work as well for you.....cause it won't. Start of with the basics and adopt a good diet. DON'T OVER-DO IT. Remember the saying "Less is More" .
 
Once a week is sufficient to stimulate growth... Provided your intensity and diet
are in check. Food is the most anabolic substance.
 
I think twice a week is better BUT you have to lower the volume each session. Something like a upper/lower split and only doing 1-2 exercises per bodypart each day.

Example:

Upper:
Horizontal Push (Chest)
Vertical Push (Shoulders)
Horizontal Pull (Rows)
Vertical Pull (Pull ups/lat pull downs, etc.)
Biceps
Triceps

Lower:
Quads (Squats, Front Squats, Box Squats, etc.)
Hamstrings (SLDL, pull throughs, deadlifts, etc.)
Abs
Calves

I also usually like to do some kind of single leg work on the lower day (lunges, step ups, etc.) because I find it helps prevent injuries and imbalances. It also provides some additional quad work.

There are lots of things which will give you the beat result such as horizontal push ups,vertical push ups, Biceps, Triceps and so on are gives you the best result for the body and health both.
