What supplements actually make a real difference?

I have never messed with any supplements other than whey.. so I'm about to make a trip to gnc. What are the supplements that no one should pass up and actually are worth spending the money on?
 
mmmmmmm the only ones I take besides protein...

Fish Oil
L-Argenine
Beet Root
Nitric Oxide
Fiber drink


The majority of those are to keep my blood pressure steady but L-argenine and Nitric Oxide will also make you more vascular.
I know tons of guys around here love Creatine
 
Save your money and shop on amazon. GNC is overpriced in every sense of the word, and that's with the "gold membership". I ONLY shop there if I'm out of something and can't wait.

All you NEED would be fish oil, a good multi-vitamin, and if you have a hard time getting enough protein - a quality protein powder.

Nice supplements to have would be NAC, magnesium citrate, arginine, creatine (many higher quality pre-workouts have creatine), and methyl b-12.

Who is making a 850 mg cap. L-arginine is great stuff. Magnesium is a must and patasium , glutamine is also great.

Fermented cod liver oil is prover to be the best source of Omega-3
 
I d say let bw dictate where ur needing sup s iffin ur food intake is lacking in either quantity quality or diversity.
 
L-ARGININE is some good stuff my brother repo turned me onto it for my bp. Now I take it while on mast and test. And the combo of that and the mast my veins look like pencils.

...both r a must for me. NAC actually helped my liver while I was on hep c treatment , according to doctors labs.
 
Just wanted to add one I haven't seen mentioned. Many people are deficient in Vitamin D. If that includes you, I recommend supplementing it. It often takes 5000-10000iu daily to get into the upper quartile of the normal range.

And 5-10mg daily of Cialis for the win for all of those readers with a penis.

Good point! I work outside alot and last summer had labs done, dr said never saw vitamin d that high!! I wasnt supplementing with any either, just good old sun made the increase;-)

Any symptoms if someone is low on vitamin d?
