What To Believe PWO

So a buddy showed me a video of the hodge twins speaking about a fact from a sports nutrition class
Saying you prevent hgh By consuming high amounts of sugars/carbs.as well as you should wait at least an hour to consume anything
Does anyone have a response to this?
I have been doing bananas as my post carbs

If you train hard, your glycogen stores are going to be empty and your insulin is going to be high, and any carb that you eat will be drawn back into the muscle tissues.
Carb intake is important for muscle recovery and your preformance in your next gym session.

Even if you were taking HGH, or a peptide like IGF-LR3, post-workout (pwo) you'd want to have carbs at that point.

High-glycemic carbs are best pwo.

These same carbs, however can have a negative impact on your HGH levels, if you took them later in the day or at bedtime.

So, I'd say pwo is a metabolic opportunity for ingestion of carbs, especially the simple/ high-glycemic carbs, and the release/increasing of HGH. And I'd eat as no later than 30 to 60 minutes after an intense session.

IMO, keep eating your bananas and protein powders pwo.

dont wana hi-jack here . .but i think this is relevent...

if you were taking HGH would pwo be best? well splitting dose in morning and pwo? i have read you shouldnt have carbs close to your GH injection ..

but if lets sayyyy "" . someone is taking pre/wo slin .. and then comes home from gym.. downs a shake and then takes their GH ... would this not be a good idea ? the shake is needed for sure to keep glucose levels normal.. so do you wait to take GH or take it with or right after shake???

The only time hi glycemic carbs are necessary PWO is if you are doing say 2 a day workouts etc. Glycogen stores will be replenished just fine and very efficently with low gi carbs such as oats etc.
Also worth mentioning is you cant look at the GI soley and say a carb is hi sugar and will effect the body as such. For example 1 banana has half the daily recommended fiber. Fiber slows absorption of sugars. You take it with protein as well so you should look at the glycemic load. (Effect the combo of foods and their contents have on blood sugar)
I do oats and protein PWo unless im taking slin and have noticed zero difference in results.
there isnt much from an overall health standpoint that justifies taking in 50+ grams of simple sugars (ie dextrose)...at any time imo.
