Im a newbie as well but i have been reading a lotand just got done with my first real cycle. Everyones different but I start seeing strength gains after about 4 and progressively after see size and strength gains to the end of 12 weeks...it takes a while for your body to cleave the test off the enanthate ester and reach peak blood levels to promote max growth. And try melatonin if you cant sleep...you can get it at any nutrition shop
if i dont run an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) with my cycle i notice weight/water gain by the end of the firts to mid 2nd week, by week 4 im bloated to shit, strength and all the other shit will be in full effect by week 7 and keeps climbing to about week 10 then peaks so around week 5 expect strength increse.

Everyone is different. Most say 4 weeks but when I started my cycle, I noticed big changes about 2 1/2 out. Just depends on the person I guess. I was also including EQ and Tren in my cycle so that may have helped
I always see gains in under 3 weeks on test. Gains being strength, pump, overall feeling. Naturally it takes longer to make weight gains. 2 weeks is the magic number for me to know I'm on it.
