I read an article by some doctor(forgot he name, but will get it if anyone is interested) He did a write up on eggs/raw eggs. Said by his calculations theres a 0.00003% chance of getting samonila by eating them raw. He'd been eating eggs for about 40yrs and never had a problem.
From my personal experience, I put raw eggs(usually 4-6) in my protein shakes, or 2-4 in a 16oz glass of juice. I have done this every day for over 1 yr now and have no ill affects from it. I've also done some research on raw eggs, said your body can obsorb the protien faster/easier. Cooking them would slightly change the chemical composition. I'll get more specifics on this and post when i have more time. But from my personal experience, I have nothing bad to say about eating raw eggs- quick, easy, good source of protien. Lastly, read where the egg yoke has the perfect balance of fat and amino acids for your body to digest the protien in the egg, SO its ok to eat the egg, yoke and all. Now, if youre eating tons of eggs aday, it would prob. be a good idea to not eat all the yokes, but just know that some won't hurt especially when bulking.
