When sick or not feeling well......

do you still go to the gym and just hit it light or do you stay home and fully recover. Just wondering, Im not feeling the best today and my body sorta aches and I was debating wether to go to the gym or not today.
 
I don't want anything to interfere with my lifts so I usually take a few days to recover. I always remember Momma saying that when I'm sick I shouldn't get all hot and sweaty or it will prolong recovery.
 
I work through any cold I have, unless I feel I am either going to shit myself or I am going to get others sick.

It is probably just a coincidence, but I always tell myself I dont get sick when other people around me are getting sick. When I start feeling sick I go to gym and work extra hard, and I keep up the mind set that I dont get sick.

It is rare for me to get more than one cold a year, and that is a dorm environment where kids are sick 24-7. When I do get sick and I work through it I seem to feel better quicker than if I sit at home and concentrate for feeling shitty. :chomp:
 
depends. If I'm not up to it I usually waste my time going anyway so I stay home. Keeping that in mind I don't miss too many days, specially when on swole!

I once heard that working out during a cold can stimulate your immune system but body aches I always take the day off, get something good to eat and rest. Otherwise your day at the gym will not do you much good. I justify it by telling myself muscle growth occurs on rest days and not days at the gym
