when to do deads...

Hey, I'd love to do deads more often but I can't find a place for them.

IF I do them on a leg day, then my lower back gets sore, as well as forearms, if I do them on a back day, then my hammy's will be sore for leg day.

What's is the optimal time to do them? OR I should say, with what other body part does this exercise compliment most?

Do them with back n day, Monday. Then workout legs Thursday so you don't have to worry about being too sore
 
I do back and quads on the same day then rest a day. My day back I do hams and calves. It really works the soreness out of the quads for me doingit this way.
 
My old 'bodybuilding' split used to be as follows...

Monday: Legs (most important to train anyway...and the squat racks are ALWAYS open on Monday)

Tuesday: Chest

Thursday: Back (did deads on this day)

Friday: Shoulders, triceps, biceps

I loved it...was always recovered well...

Did deads with back today. First 3 sets chins, 5 sets bent over rows, then 3 sets deads. My grip was starting to get weak when I started deads, but I like them on back days. GOna stick to it.
