Who here has had success with RECOMP diets?

So Im thinking about staying on a recomp diet over the summer. The standard for a recomp seems to be +20% over maintenance on lift days, and -20% maintenance on non lift/cardio days. I also plan on nutrient cycling, eating high carbs on lift days and low carbs on non lift days. Protein always high on all days and fats low.

Anyone have experience with recomps? Any suggestions on how to tweak it for the better?
 
The 20% could be kind of much for some. I've heard 200 to 300 cals over maintenance. 200 to 300 under on non lift days. I've never tried it out though and hopefully someone will chime in because I'm interested myself.

alot of my clients successfully recomp... genetics can play a factor so keep that in mind.. you have to find what works for you.. i specifically custom design diets for my clients who want to recomp and adjust them as we go along.. its a trial and error basis thanks to the genetic limitations.. are you planning on being on cycle?

Yes...test and tren prop 300-400mg per week. i'm 25, 188lbs @ 11-12% bf. I use to be 212 @ 18% bf so Im a natural endomorph. I seem to respond better to low cals, I've done the P.S.M.F diet in the past with fantastic results.
 
I am using 3J's carb cycling diet with a very light cycle (200mg test above testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doseage and 50mg anavar) and it has definitely recomped my physique. I am not buff by any means, but my measurements and weight have dropped quite a bit in the last few weeks and my strength and LBM have gone up quite a bit.

I would get 3J's help before I bought any AAS if I had to do it over. Priceless info and plan from 3J. Best money I have spent to get myself healthier and more fit.
 
Forgot to add, I would call myself an endo with a lot of bodyfat and was very weak. I always used low calories and low carbs and had success losing fat. With 3J's, I almost get tired of eating and the meals are spread out to just the right times, so if you are craving carbs you have a carb meal, same with fats and proteins. I am eating more of my favorite foods and nothing I don't like and still gaining muscle and losing fat.

I lost 3.5 pounds in the last few days and my strength has gone up over the same time.
