Just out of curiosity, how many of you would be complete slobs if it wasn't for bodybuilding?

I'm the kinda person that either does it or doesn't...I can't really "kinda" do something. In general, I eat very well however when I get injured, sick or take a week break from the training my diet is absolutely discusting!

I'm not sure I would be able to manage a "normal" healthy lifestyle (in the near future at least) when it comes to training and diet.

i for one, would be a complete fat ass if it werent for the bbing lifestyle. i have a tremendous appetite, which is an advantage when im bulking and a severe disadvantage when im cutting. i have to eat meals roughly every 90 minutes or i get shaky and irritable, and i still snack. i was fat when i was a kid and grew into the weight. once i stopped growing, i started getting fat again and thats when i started riding my bike up to the local gym when i was 14 and put a stop to it.

I wouldn't be obese but I would definately be "pudgy" and more out of shape than I am.

I might actually be "skinny" fat because I used to only do cardio.

obese only now that I've been bbing for the last two years that I feel good about how I look which keeps me motivated. I look back on the days on which I din't think twic about eating burger king or mcdonalds twice a day and I say to myself if I'd do that now the guilt would drive me crazy.

I was 30lbs overweight before i started lifting. Now taht im in shape i can pretty much eat whatever i want and not have to worry about getting fat again. Its amazing how the negative health issues associated with fast food pretty much disappear when youre not overweight.
