Who's tha best for trt , family doc , trt clinic , urologist ?

My family doc didn't seem to care how I felt He just wants my numbers " in range ". I told him I'd like to get them up to around 1000. I'm 32. He is fine with gettin um to 300. So he sent me to an urologist. Y'all think he will b anymore aggressive in treating me or is a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinic best ? My total test was 68 ng when I started testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). After 6 months it was up to 248 Still really LOWWWW !!!

It is very hard to say, some doctors are up to speed with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and others are not! You could try giving IMT a call, they are a site sponsor and there are a lot of guys on this site that are very happy with their treatment.

Best of Luck!

They don't care...
You have the same Family doc as me. He does not care about Low T...said so himself!
He told me to go to a psychologist and or take wellbutrin cause "testosterone does not help with energy"
These are the kind of docs you best stay away from. Your better off finding a younger doc who takes this stuff seriously.
Most these G.P.'s are not going to get involved with Testosterone...
Most are comfortable with practicing one way only----Antidepressants.
They diagnose all the symptoms of Low T as "depression"....so they will just treat that.
Most care very little for what is causing it...
You're lucky if you can find a doc these days to order a sleep study on a patient.
Socialized medicine doesn't work.

Hey apollon, you're from Canada, too right? I can't believe there's such doctors out there....

I don't agree with you on socialized medicine, however, for the most part it's good. We could have a system like the US where only those that can afford health care get it. Incompetent GPs exist I the states too.

. Thanks man. I just wish docs would listen. They expect us to. Raisin my total t from 68 to 248 has done a lot for me. I can only imagine gettin it up 3-4x that.

Looks like you need to doctor shop. Keep looking until you find one that is up with the times and will treat you properly. Could be an GP or Endo or Uro.

Or end all the headaches and just call IMT.

He has the exact same type of G.P. I had. Cares nothing how you feel as long as levels are "in the range". You could be at bottom range of normal...
That G.P. would have no problem with me being on clomid for life (If endo approved it..because he wouldn't prescribe it)...as long as my T was "in the range".

Exactly !!! Hey what about my stane dose question ?

Never used Stane. Arimidex at 0.25 mg E3D is usually sufficient to control E2...
Many don't use any Aromatase inhibitor (AI) at all when on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) cause they divide their weekly dose in smaller shots.

I agree with him that Socialist healthcare sucks. The healthcare in the United States isn't perfect, but I would be dead in any country with socialized medicine. For extremely common illnesses and I injuries it isn't as bad(still far, far worse), but if you acquire some rare disease...you are screwed. This is speaking from experience. I wonder what sort of Socialed Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) would be...Zinc and generic Wellbutrin if your lucky?

It varies from doc to doc I've seen at least 5 docs and I finally found one who is up to date on trt!

I'm sure you will find more G.P.'s in socialized medicine that will promote Wellbutrin, exercise, as a viable option in males with Low T. Try that outfit out for a while and see if they work for you.
It's easier for them. Less monitoring of patient, more follow up appointments to bill the system and just convince the patient that testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is dangerous and leads to prostate cancer.
I have a G.P. like this.
