Why bother reading the Stickies?

Why don't people read the stickies and excellent articles here on Ology before making a post?
I have a friend who asked me about using steroids. I gave him the URL for Steroidology and told him to READ READ READ!
Instead he goes to this doctor (yes a real MD!) who is, as far as I can tell, nothing more than an expensive drug dealer. The doctor perscribed test, deca, and Anadrol--- with ZERO instruction for their use and side effects. No Aromatase inhibitor (AI) either. No mention of cycling. No mention of PCT.
So I get together with my friend a few months later. He's all excited about his gains. But he's having odd pains in his back and legs... Not muscular. As it turns out, he's been taking 100mg of Anadrol for five straight months! The dude damn near blew his kidneys to shreads before I stopped him! I asked him if his doctor told him how to use oral steroids. He said no and simply assumed they were safe because he kept getting more refills (provided by the doctor!)
I asked him if he joined Streroidology, like I told him. Did he read the stickies, like I told him.
"No," he replied, "I just wanna get big!"

WTF? We're so lucky to have Steroidology!

wow thats soo bad for him... can i please get the name & address to this MD. i would like to pay him a visit to uhh tell him how bad of a doctor he is.. i would totally not try to score any human grade gear that is properly dosed and has no chance of being contaminated. Lol i would actually lecture him about not giving Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and post cycle therapy (pct) tho. but besides that. ummm yea, naughty Dr.

and yes your friend is a complete moron. why would anyone not do any research when taking prescription drugs? you did the responsible thing by telling him to read the stickys. i learned everyth8ing from here and a few other plaxces too. i did like a yr and a half of solid research before injecting anything into myself. i still research every single thing i take including vitamins, herbs and otc drugs. its never as simple as popping a pill.... even tylenol has side effects!!!

I second that on pain med doctors! They make more cash that way versus treating symptoms and not issues! There are a few goood ones but damn hard to find.
Sucks a doc would prescribe that much gear without some warnings but I wouldn't mind getting the scripts for all that gear

Private practice doc, or are we talking rejuvenation clinic? Getting a doc to prescribe deca is one thing, but ANADROL??! Wow.

It is crazy how many of the same questions we get everyday. I don't even find it worth posting anymoe cause most these answers can be googled. People really think its nothing more than buy inject grow done. I researched for over a year and still came on here learning new things. I haven't touched more than d-bol and test yet but its so common to see people wanting deca test and 5 other compounds as there first cycle. People are just plan lazy and can't do anything for themselves.

If he filled it at a pharmacy, it should have come with a package insert.... They stick those things in there for a reason..... hopefully your friend reads stuff thoroughly now

That's the scam of doctors like this. He writes scripts but fills them in his office at a huge markup! He sees his "patients" once a month and charges a cash office visit fee every time. He sells them only one month supply each time. His practice is only bodybuilders.
And yes, my friend is HIV pos. His insurance pays for test but not anything else. The "patients" pay cash and get whatever they want as long as its approved for humans. As I said, the doc is an overpriced drug dealer. I'll stick to my trusted UGL sources. At least they provide instruction and research about their products!
