Why is my weight stalling on this deca blast?

I am banned!
500mg test and 600mg deca. Estrogen is in control, dick works great, and my strength is improving.

The first week I gained 10 pounds because I did 75mg NPP every day for the first week as a kickstart. Second week I gained 4 pounds, third 2 pounds, now weeks 4 and 5 i havent gained any weight. Strength still up and my training is good. Diet should be good too, i hit my macros every day. Why am I stalling?

My friend said its because deca doesnt really start to work its magic until week 7 and beyond. He also said its mostly bloat that ive gained. My cycles 16 weeks.

id guarantee first few weeks water retention went up . that or u upped your calories . now youve plateaud for that number of calories . if you want to keep gaining weight ... you have to keep eating ... more calories to keep gaining

You cant gain weight on a. calorie deficit gear or not.adjust calories upwards.3j can chime I'm no dietician but 1-2 lbs/wk is nice goal.more rapid than that day it's gonna be more fat less muscle

19 (save it) 210lbs 6'4. Not sure on bodyfat percent but I have ab veins, so somewhere between 9-11%. Did a test only blast before this. Been training for two years, three as of this september.

Protein = 230G, dont track carbs and fats that much but I eat enough carbs to fuel my workouts so thats all good. Calories are 3600.

Deadlift = 435
Bench = 275
I dont max on squat.

So 19 and you tell us to save it. Well if you don't take advise why come here. I'll save it, you talk like you are a kid.

I guess you aren't educated enough. As my other friend told you have gained water weight. Everything in 4 weeks is mostly 90% water. It usually takes 5 weeks for Test and to really get the benefits of Deca that will take 10 weeks plus.

You can only gain 15-20 lbs. of LEAN MM in a year So what do you have, again, water.
 
So you dont track carbs and fats but you know what your calories are?? Do you see the issue here?

And im not going to save it.. Youre wayyy too young for gear...

Is there a medical issue here with you t 19 yrs. Because you are only 19 and this has nothing to do with how long you have been lifting or how serious you are etc.. You haven't finished growing. Oh well.

While I don't agree with his choice in cycling at his age, he has proven in several other threads that he understands the risks and has zero chance of changing his mind. I chose to just offer advice, although - (to you 4GKenZy) I wouldn't tell guys to "save it".

Sixteen pounds in a month isn't normal, and I'm pretty sure you're seeing water gain like crazy. Blood test time as I don't think your estradiol is in check as much as you think it is.

Your friend would be right about the nandrolone if it were decanoate, but it's phenylpropionate - which is MUCH faster. As you frontloaded a decent dose of an aromatizing hormone, you're seeing a surge of estradiol.

I do think that you should post up in 3J's thread, but I would also try to be a little more tactful with the guys as many aren't as patient as I am. ;)

Bro it's simple, you put on water weight with some gains in there somewhere. Time to up calories brother. Eat, eat eat!! And Gett hat e2 in check a little more and see how much water you lose in weight... Plus fix sodium or train harder and sweat that shit out and weigh yourself to get an idea of what you should do.

Btw not joking about the Letro bombs. I might hear shit about it but when I was killing my gyno at .50mg Letro a day I felt amazing after the first couple of days. Sure, you'll feel like you get hit by a train for a few but I like the stuff.
 
The initial weight gain from a cycle is glycogen, water, etc. It's impossible for those 12-20 lbs that people rapidly gain over the span of weeks to be muscle. So when people lose all that weight post-cycle, they assume they lost their "gains". They just dropped a lot of water and glycogen.


You aren't stalling, your weight just stabilized. That's normal. Now focus on gaining weight. 1 lbs per week of actual muscle is insanely good.




As long as you eating in a caloric surplus(eating more than you burn per day) and you are getting stronger/increasing workout intensity, then you are doing it right.

I have lower ab veins at 16% BF. Ab definition is a better marker, but still not 100%.
 
Update, I am now making sick gains. I guess deca just took a little longer to kick in. Up two pounds a week and my strength is ridiculous. Thanks for the help everyone.
 
Also I took some Vyvanse this morning and have an urge to just do some typing. I want to let you guys know that the risks of starting pre-25 years old are COMPLETELY overblown sometimes.

Look at bodybuilders today and in the past. Arnold, Lee, Levrone, Dexter Jackson, Jeff, Kai Greene etc. They all started BEFORE my age. I'm 19 and that's young, most of those guys started when they were 16. I understand the skepticism, maybe it's not the health risks you guys are concerned with, but the assumption I'm a dumb teenager who doesn't know what he's doing. I'm not one of those kids who don't get bloodwork or think Nolva is an A.I. My blood pressure is absolutely PERFECT, my bloodwork looks good, my A.I is dialed in. I'm completely safe. Thanks for the concern everyone I know you're just looking out for me and I appreciate that. But really, the added risk of starting at 19 vs 25 is not as big as you guys may think. Steroids can be used extremely safely and I am doing everything I can to make sure I don't fuck myself.
