Wondering if 1 cycle of test could be bad for me

Hey guys, im 21 yrs old 5´9 and weigh 164 lbs.

I was wondering if doing just one cycle of Test would be a risk to my health. If so, are there any other natural supplements or something that can help me bulk up? I wish to put on at least 15 or 20 more pounds. I also wonder if just one cycle is enough to shut down my natural production of testosterone. I would highly appreciate any advices

You joined the site in 2011 and are asking this kind of question? You'd be better off heading down to your local GNC and ask them for some supplements. In the meantime, read the stickies dude!

I've been really happy with Gaspari Nutrition off cycle, (and on). I use SuperPump Max and Sizeon all of the time, along with a few of their other products from time to time. That, plus lots or protein and creatine.

Try that for a few years and consider AAS when you're 25

2cups milk your choice, 2 scoops choc protein powder, a banana, 40g oat flour or oats, 32g natty pb. Best tasting weight gainer you'll ever try. Blend well though, the oats can scratch your thoat.

I agree with what's already posted. You're too young. Stay natural and do your research on training, diet, and supplementation.

Yes. And there is no such thing as one cycle. We all said that at one point.

Nuh uh. I'm still on my first cycle, and plan on running it for another 60 or so years. The doses and compounds just seem to go up and down every couple months. :D

Me too. I've been running my first cycle on and off for 17 years now. :)

Considering that you are only 164lbs at 5'9 I would not consider cycling. Once you have reached your calculated genetic limit I would reassess the situation. I don't agree with the general 25yrs and up that's slung around, however that is only provided that you do your research and know exactly what you are getting into. You could probably reach around 170lbs of lean mass at your height, that means 189lbs at 10% bodyfat. Now if you are the average person, you probably have a little more or around 10%, meaning that if you are 164lbs at 10% then you have 22.4lbs of lean mass gains left to go before you should even begin to consider running gear. This is of course a very rough guesstimate (using Casey Butt's Frame Size Model), but should help provide some insight.

As for shutting you down, any cycle, even a PH will shut you down. The degree to which you are shut down will vary, but you can most certainly count on it. What is going to differ with genetics is your post cycle recovery.

As for natural training for the time being:

Don't waste money on expensive supplements when there are cheaper generics, for instance fancy creatine. MH is best, there isn't the science to back any other form (only bs abstracts published by the companies). Just get a 4lb tub of MH and then a bag of waxy maze. Together should be less than $60 and last around 4 months.

Calculate and stick to your macros! Pm me if you want help with that, but only if you are serious about sticking to them.

As for training stick more to moderate volume. Some strength training is good, however this is not your goal so the weight on the bar shouldn't matter; rather only that you are making size gains.

Best,
Parker.
