working out wile sick

I'm kind of a big deal...
I woke up feeling like shit yesterday and ive gotten a little better since then. I hate missing workouts. should i put the gym on hold untill im 100%.

If you feel like working out, work out. Often times I will feel better after working out when I am sick. However, if you are feeling worn out and completely out of it forget it. Or if you are extremely sick, don't. Just be smart about it and how far you can push yourself.

its not to bad, just a little head cold. ive been home all day i just need to get out of the house. i think it will do some good. what does lifting do to my immune system?

It has both positives and negatives. The important thing is to not overexert yourself. If you tear yourself down too much you'll do more harm then good. Train within your limits.

Yup, just make sure that you are still able to train safely with the ability to prevent injury. Sometimes a day off is great because it a) gives your body rest and b) gives you crazy motivation when you get back.

Sort tem it lowers it tremendousley.

Long term it imporves it.

Thinkk about what a workout is. Streesing the body in everyway and tearing down it's fibers. Not to manetion what it does tho the CNS.

THis is also assuming you are doing heavy weight training or endurance training. Fitness style training doesn't really apply.

your body can only do so much: A)repair broken down tissue or B)fight infection or bacteria. If the body has to do both, the force behind one will greatly decrease. Id say rest.

it was a split decision, i went to the gym and just got back, i got a surprisingly good workout in. i wasent any weaker just a little more tired. i guess we'll have to see how i feel tomorrow. thanks for the input everyone.

I once did that, bro!

was sick...no sleep..no eat...went to gym...lifted 40s military presses for 10 then fainted

the most recent one is...

working out with lack of sleep due to fucking stressful work.

low reps but with high pounds...

8 hours of rest and tons of protein is still the best way to go.

when I was sick back then, I went complete dehydrated..it's lile cutting..lol

chill and relax..go and surf the net for prons and work them forearms instead...
