world record

it got passed at a meet so the judges thought it was deep enough. breaking parallel is required to pass at a meet. damn huge squat.

I do believe Mike himself pulled the lift after all the bitching and whining about his depth...

Brent's 1141 still stands as the WR???

black, i might be wrong, but i think you misunderstood pb

he said that the judges agreed that it was deep enough so they passed it. and mike has the WR.

big part of it.
that's such bullshit. If the judges called it legal then everyone else should just shut up.

do they have different standards at differen't PL meets?

it doens't make sense to me, if the judges passed it, i dont see the problem.

Each federation has it's own rules on what makes a lift legal. If the judges called the lift legal then it should be the world record in that fed.

As long as, some given number of refs were in attendance (3?) depending, and I think one or more have to be world certified or some crap.

So yeah, several factors come into play.
