I have had pains in my wrists for a few years now. Usually I would get it when I start hitting the gym up again and after a week, it goes away. Now, the pain comes in more often and last year I had to go to the hospital. Thats how bad it hurt. X-ray revieled nothing. They straped me up, and patted my ass out the door. The pain is back and just won't go away. It isn't as bad as last year but bad enough to stop me from training. I bought wristwraps but I feel like they don't do much. Do you guys think I should just stop hitting up the gym for a few weeks or is there a solution. Are there any sup's that can help?

By the way, it's only my right wrist.

post your training like PB said
also realize its an area that you will need to strengthen

liniments are a big help as well as possibly using some wrist wraps..also check your form on all your exercises

It really effects my bench. Basically, Chest excersises, Bi's, some Tri's. When ever there is a heavy load on my wrist. I took off last week and this week will be the same.

The wraps don't seem like they do much. "PROLOTHERAPY" I never heard of that. What is that is?

Also, what is liniments?

look into prolotherapy. It works wonders.

does it? All the papers i have read on it are inconclusive.

We don't have much of it here in Australia, but I am interested in finding out more about it.

Have you had it done deadlift?

I personally like a liniment made by Watkins called Compound White Cream Liniment. It has helped my wrists, shins and delts. I think Watkins has a website you can order from. Just my 2 cents...Jul :)

Could I get it at the local pharmacy?
I bet you could. I have never looked. I steal mine from my mother :) She gets it through a Watkins distributor. But that stuff is awesome. Hope your wrist feels better soon...

Thanks Jul!

I really don't do anything for my forearms. I made an appointment to see the Doc. I'll let you guys know whats up. Thanks for your help!
