I have had carpal for awhile and pains my wrists the more I do presses and such. Anyone know of a good gaurd straps or tape to help stabilize my wrists more?
the cheap harbinger wraps you can buy at dicks should be fine, i wouldn't use tape. have you actually been diagnosed with carpal tunnel or is this a self diagnosis? you try fish oil, joint support and stretching any?
Depending on your event though, you may want to make sure that the straps are gtg. Some bodies regulate how thick or how long they can be. The other thing I would add is that it's best to strengthen your wrists without, so lift as much as you can without, and use the straps when you get to the point you have to... but if you've got CT already you may be past that point.
good luck. Sucks when something as "stupid" as a joint prevents you from lifting big.
