Not familiar with Genotropin, but think you are referring to a convenience pen type kit. Don't know how many doses come with it, etc but sounds like this is measured as 3iu per 1mg, which prob means how it's dispensed?
In any case, I can comment on some basic well-accepted dose guidelines for beginners (HGH always dosed in iu, 1mg/3iu is consistent to 5mg/15iu which is a fairly common dose per vial across all brands you reconstitute in multi-use vials):
Safe step up and very conservative:
2iu ed, 5 or 6 on, 1 or 2 days of per week for 2-3 weeks, no sides, next step
3iu ed, 5/6 on, 1 or 2 days off per week for 2-weeks, no sides, next step
4iu ed same as previous
Up to desired dose, most see good results at 4iu, but many are fine at 2 to 3iu, all personal experience so see how it goes, takes up to a few months for some to really feel full effects, some more quickly.
Some move up .5iu rather than 1iu
If you get sides, back off 25% for a couple weeks for body to adjust, then move up again..still sides, u may be at personal limit.
So if your dose is 3iu/day, add number of 1mg/3iu doses you have, minus days per week you are taking off (1-2), and you'll have your days supply. At 3iu+ usually recommended to split into 2x/day (50% each shot), but don't know how your kit works.
Again, don't know Genotropin so these are general guidelines in HGH dose form to help.
