10 Week Blood Test Results - Couple Questions

Been on 200mg Test Cyp every two weeks for around 10 weeks. I ran my own blood test through LapCorp (very easy by the way).

I had the injection on Tuesday and the bloodwork on Friday.

Results:
Test 618 348-1197 "IN RANGE"
LH 0.2 1.7-8.6 LOW
FSH 0.2 1.5-12.4 LOW
Estradiol 61.5 7.6-42.6 HIGH
RBC 5.81 4.14-5.80 HIGH
Hemoglobin 18.4 12.6-17.7 HIGH
Hematocrit 54.6 37.5-51.0 HIGH

I was kind of dissapointed with the level of Test but I guess I'm a little concerned with the other numbers...specifically the Estradiol, RBC, Hemo, and Hema.

Any thoughts on next steps? Donate blood and get on an AI? I ordered Liquidex but am still trying to figure out a proper dosage for this level. If Test levels should be 20x to 30x higher than Estradiol, I need to at least chop mine in half...

Anyway, all thoughts are appreciated.

Oh..one more thing...even at 200 per week, you need to run an AI...I didn't , and my Estrogen was high at the end..not crazy high, but out of range....

Your test is way low.. Your E2 is high, but nothing to worry about. Can I ask who's test your running?

How are you feeling on the current dosage and the injection frequency? Numbers do not mean that much if you are not feeling good, with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) less is more. So the first recommendation would be to; change injection frequency to twice/week or at least once/week. This will bring your testosterone levels to more stable levels and should have a positive impact on your estradiol. You can increase your dosage to 150mg or 200mg/week but if you are feeling great right now. Why change it?

Secondly, as you know, donate blood to reduce your hematocrit. A 500ml blood donation will have your hematocrit on the high range of normal(49) so I would recommend that as soon as you are eligible for blood donation donate again. Keep in mind if you are injecting anything that is not prescribed by a doctor please call the blood bank the next day and say that you got the flu or enter the id number of the donation and they will discard it. It is very simple to do and thoughtful to be mindful of our blood supply.

As for the aromatase inhibitor, anastrozole should suffice to control your estrogen. Be mindful that it took 10 weeks to buildup 30-40pg/ml considering your baseline is 20-30. So a rough estimate of the estradiol you need to off-set/week is about 3-4pg/ml.

Most importantly you should consider testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) treatment from a doctor. The medication you are using should be controlled if you consider that you are injecting something into your body. This is to ensure that you are always getting the proper dosage of each medication. Getting a vial which contains 150mg testosterone/ml rather than 200mg or 250mg while your aromatase inhibitor is too strong or too weak can throw everything off. It can drive your estrogen too high from underdosed anastrozole or way too low from underdosed testosterone coupled with aromatase inhibitors that are too strong.

TRT is all about balance and continuity. Is it really worth your health and well-being to save a buck. Not to mention that it is illegal.

Daniel_IMT: welcome to the forum!

Just curious... Are you one of the doctors associated with IMT? What are you certified in?

Daniel - welcome aboard and thanks for your comments. A couple things...

I am under doctor supervision for the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). However, he does not seem up to speed on Estradiol. That is why I had my own bloodwork done.

I feel okay about 50% of the time, great 5%, and blah about 45%. The protocol I'm on seems that it is just plain foolish, in my humble opinion.

Test Cyp 200mg EOW
10mg Test Cream on days 10-14 (3 pumps per leg, 60mg total/day)
No AI
No HCG

I'm up and down all the time but hit a sweet spot once or twice a week where I actually feel great mentally, physically, & libido.

I'm trying to get my Endo to let me self inject once per week at around 150-200mg and then drop the cream. I also believe I need a mild Aromatase inhibitor (AI) dose....maybe .25 every third day or so. Not so worried about HCG.

Anyway, if I can't get this done with him and remain on a rollar coaster, I'll be knocking on IMT's door soon...

Thanks for the input.

Mack
