18 too young to be taking hgh?

Hey I'm thinking about doing an hgh only cycle for general health benefits. I've been lifting for 2 years now I'm 18 5'10" 190 pounds at about 12 to 15 percent body fat. Haven't measured for a while. I'm mostly interested in the general health benefits from hgh. I have a herniated disk and I've also torn just about everything I can in both my knees. Would gh help me out at all? A low dose for 6-12 months? Would it take me out of snap city and help my back at all? Would it even do anything since I'm 18 and probably making the most gh i ever will naturaly? It sucks being the guy at the gym that can bench 2 plates but only squat/dead 1 before I tweak my back. I have no experience with any aas and don't plan on taking any. At least not until I'm much older.

most definitely too young

***not to mention...I doubt at 18 you could afford to run a proper hgh cycle.

I agree that 18 is too young. You may want to start thinking long term as far as how you train etc. at your age with those injuries the sooner you look at form and training methods etc the better. I wish I had done a few thing differently when I was younger, I might not have all the injuries I do now at my age had I done so.

Form is my number 1 priority in the the gym. I spend a good 40 minutes everyday doing mobility work and don't do any lift that causes me pain or discomfort. My backs fucked. About 3 months ago I bent over to pickup a chair and tweaked it so bad I couldn't walk for a week. I just heard from a few guys I know at the gym that hgh could help me out. Although they also told me to run test and deca along with igf1. But I don't want to do a real cycle

Don't listen to guys at the gym!
Over the years I have heard some of the worst advice ever from the "experienced guys" at the gym.
And 18 is way too young for GH, you won't miraculously have your back healed in 6-12 months.

Keep going to rehab(which I hope you are). I had a teammate from college who completely messed up his back and he had to do 3 and a half years of rehab before he was able to lift heavy again

No I've never been to physical therapy. I live in a tiny town and we don't have anything like that here. I'll just take some time off lifting and work solely on mobility and flexibility and see if that makes a difference. Thank you all for the advice. But could someone tell me exactly why 18 is too young for gh?

I don't think it's going to fuck you up and compromise your developing endocrine system or anything, it'll just be a waste of money. It's not the miracle cure you are looking for.

Learning how to squat and deadlift properly was the best rehab I've found for my back and knee issues. Im old and have a seriously fucked up back and knees and hGH didn't do much of anything for me (expensive pharma grade stuff too).

I've got my squat and deadlift form down. I didn't do either for an entire year after my injury then over the course of 8 months I re learned the movements starting with just the bar working up to a plate. Would it really do nothing if I took it though? I know it'll put on a few pounds of lean mass and cut down fat which I wouldn't mind but no help to any of my joints? I thought it boosted collegen synthesis which would help out joints and bones?

It's just pretty subtle and should help old guys like me heal almost as fast as young guys like you. I've never known anyone to take it and experience any miraculously fast healing with an injury like what we have. It would probably help some, but I doubt it would be significant at your age. Probably nothing you would notice.

Oh and not calling you out on form but everyone thinks that they have it nailed, hardly anyone really does. It wouldn't hurt to video the squat and post it up somewhere like the starting strength forums. Everyone can usually improve something...most have some real issues.
