1cc syringe vs 3 cc syringe

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on how necessary the need for a 1 cc syringe is for the accuracy of dose for TRT vs the standard 3cc syringe.

I am contemplating on getting some 1 cc syringes, but am not certain on how necessary they are for $45/100.

I think some say that the velocity at which the testosterone gets injected is much greater in a 1cc barrel. Higher velocity can cause more tissue damage. I might be remembering this incorrectly though so don't hold me to it.

You're right, it's just not as bad with a 25g needle versus a 29/31g needle as the volume decrease isn't as bad going from barrel to needle.

1cc barrels are kind of a pain in the butt to find OP, and are no more accurate than a 3cc barrel when it comes to measuring out TRT doses. This is of course unless you're scripted for something silly like 80mg/wk and want to do 40mg/E3.5D.

My .02c :)

Ok, cool. My dose as of right now is 50mg every 3.5 days. I just go in between the 2 and 3 mark halfway. However, I may end up having to go to the "silly" dose. haha. I feel fantastic at my current dose. I just hope that my hematocrit stays in check. The 1 cc barrels aren't hard to find, but they are kinda expensive.

$21 per 100 at eastcoastmedicalsupply.com, and they have frequent sales of 20% off or so. I've been meaning to place an order.
EDIT: yes, shipping is high.

My favorite syringes are the BD Integra retractable, haven't been able to get any lately though. Back order. I got so use to them I hate using anything else.

Update: just placed first order from eastcoastmedicalsupply for a bunch of stuff. 100 1cc barrels were $21 each, 20% discount code "blackfriday" good until end of today brought it down to $17 per 100. (Don't worry if you miss discount, there will be more).

Key to high shipping is to spend at least $200, then shipping is free. Let's just say I'm stocked up :-)

took the words outta my mouth :)

This is only true if you inject faster. Don't. Instead, use the lighter pressure required to keep steadier.
