1st Anavar Cycle...have some questions :)

Hey, my husband has been on here for awhile and I usually just use his account to research etc, but I decided since I am doing my own cycle I should create an account.

Today is day 2 of my anavar cycle 5mg
I'm 5'3" 105lbs I am within about 10 lbs of my contest weight. My diet is high protein low fat and low carb. I count micros. and am trying to keep a pretty clean diet during my cycle.

My training is hypertrophy split. I lift heavy and don't miss workouts.

My first question is, is splitting the dose during the day important or is it not a big deal?

My next question is how long before you would decide if the current dose is good for you or not?

Also how fast does it kick in? I just wanna know if its all in my head at this point or what. lol :) Thanks!

EDIT: Also, to gain lean mass what kind of calorie intake increase should I be looking at?

Run it a split. Var has half life of 8-9 hrs. You want to keep delivery consistent.

I ran some weak var for 4wks. It was suppose to be 10mg. I did the 5mg split. Couldn't see/feel anything. Found different source I knew was dosed correctly. Increased to 15mg 5mg split which is perfect for half life with constant delivery. You should feel the benefits within 1st week. My exp, I could feel my muscles and isolate them better, they were harder and fuller. Ran the 15mg for a couple weeks and backed it down to 10gm. Personally believe I could maintain the 15mg. I'm running 10 weeks. Then off for 10.

The only sides I exp were evening headaches. I'm prone to headaches to no big deal for me. As for the lean mass gains... head over to the diet/nutrition for best advice.

Thanks! Day 3 today and I can feel my leg muscles feeling somewhat more full. (I did legs yesterday). I also have zero soreness and I am always at least a little sore after my leg workout. I went ahead and split the 5mg into 2 2.5mg doses. Excited to hopefully see some great results!
 
Just an FYI, the dose does not need to be split, if you feel better doing it that way than so be it:)

BUT, you can do it all at once 2 hrs before training and get the same if not better results:)

I love when someone is obviously speaking from experience!

On paper it looks to be better one way but in practice Jenn is correct!
