1st cycle of steroids - anavar.

Hi guys,

I've just ordered my first cycle of ana Anavar (var) . I've never taken steroids before so I did my research and decided on Anavar (var) because i've read that it is supposed to increase gains while also cutting fat and it's a more mild steroid for a first-timer. I'd love to know your thoughts on what to expect from it. I'd also like to know what dosage you'd reccommend? Some say up to 100 mg a day while others say 5mg so I'm a bit confused! My tabs are 40 mg each.

haha :) yeah, i'm female, training for my first figure competition in 7 months time. i'm 20, my height is 165cm, weight is around 59kg (around 130lb), i've been training properly for about 6 months, i eat a clean diet (all the norms - lean meat, chicken, veg, brown rice, sweet potato etc etc)

a lot of the girl's i've been reading about try Anavar (var) for a first cycle. do you think i should just do Anavar (var) or add something else in?

also i'm looking into pct's at the moment :)

yeah sorry about the posts before, ive deleted them to clean up some room in your thread, cant comment on your cycle, very unfamiliar with women cycles, hopefully some of the expert ladies around here will chime in shortly and give you a hand

even 40 mg is to much for a female cycler imo.

start low and cut the tabs into 1/4 pieces and do 1 per day for 1-2 weeks and see how your respond and what sides if any you get.
 
I agree with DADAWG 40 is way to high - I wouldnt go over 20 and I would start with 5 (no more than 10).... You really have to watch for sides, some women get them, others not so much, but still dont go over 20....I like to run it at 5 for a week, up to 10 for a couple weeks, up to 15 for 2 weeks, back to 10 for 2 weeks, and 5 for the last week.

My first Anavar (var) cycle was by itself - I am almost done with my Anavar (var) /T3/Clen cycle now... I got good results when I ran it by itself with good diet and work out plan, my body fat % went down while my weight stayed the same, making it a great way for me to actually build some lean muscle while I was at a calorie deficent. But that was years ago and I was ill after so I need to basically start over, not finished with my current cycle so I cant report the results - but I'm seeing some good ones :)
 
As the Dawg says Lucylu keep the dosage low, but optimal. I used it at 20mg for nearly 8 weeks (w/ T/E) and had great results @240lb+. For a female likely nearly 100lb less than when i used it - stick with 10-20mg ED. Then taper up. A few of the fitness girls at the gym have used it and they love it.
