1st Cycle Research... BJJ Athlete/ For Strength and Recovery, Joints Ligaments

Hey guys...still researching here but just want to clear some things up for my personal case.

Ive been training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the past 5 years and weight trained on and off for the past 13 years. Most of my serious lifting days were in college and since I started training BJJ its been my only source of strength and conditioning as I usually train 2 hrs/day 5 to 6 times a week which leaves no time for weights.

Ill most likely be adding some crossfit 3Xweek to supplement my training for strength. If not that than Ill just start regular strength training with weights.

My purpose in adding AAS is mostly to help with my recovery from training, nagging injuries, strengthen my tendons and ligaments as much as humanly possible, remove pain in the joints and increase overall strength.

After having done some research Ive come up with either 3 cycles:

1. test e 300mg/wk 10-12wks
2. test e 200mg/wk & Deca 250mg/wk 10-12 wks.
3. test e 200mg/wk & EQ 300mg/wk 10-12 wks

The reason for these is the supposed therapeutic properties of DECA and EQ on the joints and ligaments which I need for my sport.

Ive read about the supposed reduction in collagen synthesis and joint pain brought on by TEST E and want to go with something that will help and not hinder.

As this would be my first cycle at conservative levels should I just stick to test or go with one of the other 2 cycles for my goals? Deca and EQ would seemingly definitely help me out with healing me up.

Are the joint problems caused by test overstated and should I not worry about them at that dose? Would TEST E help with the joints and ligaments at that dose?

would obviously be adding PCT and on cycle therapy but need more research on this.

Age: 31
height: 5'7"
Weight: 165 lbs
BF%: 15~

my diet will be about 1.25 g of protein per lb of weight consuming 2500-3000 calories daily eating around 4-5 times a day cleanly. With this amount of calories I dont see myself gaining that much weight as I plan on staying at 170lbs or below since I feel best at this weight.

Before I even consider jumping into the cycle I will most def train about 1.5 months to get in tip top shape and drop to about 12% bodyfat.

from my research my gut feeling tells me to go with the DECA/TEST cycle.

Any critiques or suggestions welcome.
 
The Deca will help with joint problems.
Deca takes some time to start working.
You will feel the Test faster than the Deca.
Why don't you just try a Test only cycle first and see how well you respond to it?

you already know what i'm going to say, isn't it?

165 lbs with 15% bf you're nowhere to start AAS... no steroids for you untill you grow naturaly about at least 15 lbs natural and lean under 15% bf. a great chalenge.

True....i do need to lean out. Nonetheless if i were 5'10" tall 15 lbs would be realistic but not on my frame naturally as im already pretty stocky. However im not looking to go up in weight as i stated since i usually compete at <165.....my goal is to aid in healing, recovery and overall strength.

Either way dont worry as i know im nowhere near starting a cycle but thats why im here. But getting back on subject.....for when i am ready :) what would you recommend for an athlete looking to protect the joints and such?

Sounds like your mostly interested in aiding in joints, ligaments, bones so I suggest omega 3 fish oil, glucosomine
 
I have been contemplating between a test e cycle and GH cycle. And for a year I am going to run GH, just to heal some old nagging injuries and joint issues. From all of the people I have personally talked to, GH is an amazing amino acid, helped them out alot, they haven't had any of their problems return. Not that GH isn't without its side effects, there are NO safe drugs. I would research that, and someone had mentioned Prolotherapy, had helped them.
 
the problem witj deca and eq is the issues wouldreturn as soon as you stopped. low dose GH would better suit your goals.

that or a peptide combo that included GHRP-6
 
if you did use test, EQ deca you wold only need one of the two with 150-200mg a wek of test.

200mg a week of deca would prolly do it and 300mg EQ would too. but just one.
