I've been at game for 36 years this month in 1978 I got my first concrete set of wights and lifted that shit in every direction I could imagine. I knew nothing about eating or what a bench press was.

By 16 the "he's on steroids" comments poured in, it would be 25 more years until my first cycle. I've trained in several cities in every Foo Foo and Hardcore gym in my Northern State.

One thing I can can call over years of seeing, talking to and now sharing the juice experience is this:

The guys that start on single compound test only will be running lower mgs and still making gains years later. Of course there are exceptions to this rule, but the % that will burn out or being 2-3g's of gear are the guys that started out stacking.

This is not a race.

Cycle easy, eat big and train hard. Go slow and crawl before you run and in 20-30 years you'll be thankful.
 
You da man Mike!! Thanks for all the help. The old concrete weider weights were the shit back in the day. They had that hardass vinyl shell but all i remember is the gravel noise they made after dropping them on the floor to many times.

lol man.....I even tried filling them with water to make them heavier.
 
Ha ha, and I was just sitting here thinking about doing my first cycle as a stack.

I've been thinking though, as test is one of the harsher and heavily aromatizing compounds it seems odd that it is overwhelmingly reccomended for first cycles. Would it be possible to start with something like primo and see good gains on a first cycle? Seems less estro-prone and milder. Just curious, I am definitely still learning.
 
Test is the first recommended compound because it's natural in yiur body anyways and is the base of ALL cycles

I would not worry at all my friend on estro conversation. Test cycles are very clean and easy

At 13 I was a soocer phenom from germany kikking ass in the public schools in Montana and skiing.

At 16 I bought my 69 Chevelle and discovered pot, pussy and horsepower.

At 18 a friend taught me how to dead and squat and I pulled 375 at 175 ish and squatted like 355..barefoot with a sunburn from my job renting sail boats the 8 hour s prior.

At 19 I did a dbol only cycle and you know what happened..blew up..then it went away.

At 21 I did test only for like a year :) never heard of pct.

By 24 I was running test deca dbol competing bbding and powerlifting simultaneusly..alway s placing in top 3 in whatever I did.

I won Mr. xxxx a collegiate show 1990 and then placed 3 rd in a regional collegiate power meet at 198, pulled 625 plus, benched 365 ish pulled 650 ish.

Now I have joint issues and am a mental trainwreck.

great post bro, love the story and hearing how you held off for so long before cycling.
just shows that there is plenty to gain naturally without the need for AAS, wish more would read and listen to personal experiences especially the youngins
 
Thats why this site is so important to people like myself and others the amount of knowledge here is by far better then any other site out there.

Amen Crazy F Mike! i'm in my mid 40's and wish i knew the type of stuff i know now when i was a young buck. did my first cycle at 19 and had no idea or even heard of pct then. now a days these kids are spoiled and want everything now. it's good to find a solid board like this where there are some old school vets to try to teach these younger generations what is what.

test is not one of the harsher compounds unless running a shit ton...you need test for more things than building muscle and replacing it all together with a different androgen (you suggested primo) is not a good idea. Of course you could dose test at what your body is naturally producing (something like 150mg/week) then run your primo, but not having test in your body isn't a great plan
