Hello and thanks in advance.

Long story short, I have been working out since I was in my teens. Last year had a knee injury and had surgery and feel like have not recovered fully and have gained some fat. I am 5'8", currently 195 lbs, max lifts (not sure they matter) deadlifts 455, squats 405, bench 315.

I am traveling to a country where steroid use is not illegal and easy to get. I like to do a short cycle mostly to help me get back to fully recovered and lose some fat and gain hardness. The two issues I have is that I only have 5 weeks and the second one is that I will be making short trips of up to 10 days to different places so I would prefer to get a longer acting injectable so that I can load upfront and do once a week or so after. Oral agents are not an issue.

I greatly appreciate your advice, just don't give me the "wrong advices"

Hi, I've had quite a few knee surgeries myself, and I promise you that AAS is NOT the answer here. Depending on what you did to your knee(s), it's likely either a tendon or ligament tear.

These are made of collagen, which requires time to heal before you put a great deal of stress on them. As AAS not only targets muscle production by increasing your nitrogen retention, but also WEAKENS collagen synthesis - this is essentially taking three steps back to take one awkward step forward.

If you're dead set on healing, HGH is really the only proven way to do this on top of rest and physical therapy. Pushing the envelope now will likely put you back under the knife, which is never a good idea imo. ;)

Besides, long esters take up to 6 weeks to become fully active. REAL short cycles are ill-advised for beginners as they require extremely large doses to reach saturation faster. This could be quite the disaster for someone with little experience, not to mention your current situation.

My .02c :)

Edit: I read your link before it gets taken down, and that kid is retarded. Well over half the crap he states is a thinly veiled attempt to sell peptides that just happen to have a huge banner at the top of the screen.

Short and long cycles BOTH have risks to shut down, and BOTH can present side effects if not managed properly. Hell, he offers a cycle of just tren and dbol for two weeks with a SERM for gyno prevention. Yeah, stick around here, read the stickies, heal up, and do it right. :wiggle:

Thanks halfwit. I appreciate your comments. I actually had the knee repaired surgically and have doing physical therapy so it's all healed up from that perspective. Just trying to regain the strength and lose some of the fat.

Have you been cleared for resistance training? Do you still experience pain when bending your knee? Crepitus (crunching sound)? Any swelling, or on any meds still?

If you answered yes to any of those, you're not recovered yet. I promise you (I speak from learning the hard way) that you want to take your time building back up. :)
