3J Diet - Attempt number 2 - With photos

Last Thursday i resumed 3J diet once again , as over the last month due to holidays and work commitments Ive really let myself down and put on a few kilo once again , but that's in the past i cant look back on it as i cant change whats happened , but i can change whats going to happen in the future :)

When starting last Thursday i weighed in at 122.5kg and am down to 116.5 this morning :) so off to a good start ill hold off posting pics till the 4 week mark :) But in the mean time i plan to update this log atleast every weigh in which is Monday and Thursday .

I was tossing up doing a 500mg/wk test-e cycle but didnt want to start it till 3j gave it the go ahead, which he has now so ill start on that also :elephant:

Look forward to keeping you guys posted and big things in the future :dj:

I feel ya mate. Have not started my 3j diet as of yet because I know I cannot commit fully until after my other commitments are taken care of. Good luk!
 
Rock it, Zimmer!!! Do this for yourself. Use those weigh-ins and pics to stay the course!! Post 'em here too! Doing so really helps to keep you disciplined! Hell, you're already off to a great start!! Props!!
 
Ok weighed in today at 116kg today (im 196cm) , thats down from 122.8 on the 10th May :)

So far the diet has gone very good, only got the sweet tooth last night but managed to resist :) and i think that came around due to boredom mainly .

Im the gym im having plenty of energy ! I'm always having some craze before workouts and my workouts are going for 1.5hrs and ive still got motivation . I know that you shouldn't go longer then 1hr generally , so im considering throwing some cardio in there , or doing 2 workouts a day and splitting cardio/weight
 
Well today i ended up doing 2 sessions , one back session and then a late night cardio session :)

After the back session i visited my local supp store and invested in a weight belt for weighted chins and some chalk as when deading 180kg grip is the only the thing stopping me from going higher.

Diet wise , another good day , cant say enough for 3J , cant believe that with the amount of food im eating im not hungry :)
 
Glad Im not the only one that has to delay 3j's magic in order to deal with life. I had tp put mine off for over a week because my mom had surgery (she's ok). And my house was full of relatives plus my cook, my wife,:)was gone on a business trip All set to go now and starting in the morning. Ill be watching your progress Zimmer. You got this!
 
another solid day on the diet train and gym :) Almost struggling to eat all my meals b4 bed time if i wake-up at 10am , haha

Shift work tends to play with my sleeping patterns abit so deal times are all over the place for me at times. But im not gonna let that hold me back !

In the Gym i did a legs session at around 1500 then at 1900 i decided to go do some cardio and touch the chest alittle bit since i was bored haha .

Once i get my diary off bb.com ill start posting what im lifting and what not .
 
Had my weigh in today , went up .2 kg in weight but lost half in inch in the stomach . so have the following results now

In the afternoon i felt l let myself down after having a solid day at dinner time i decided to have my first cheat meal in 2 weeks, but its not the end of the world as its my first one in two weeks but gotta make sure it doesnt happen for another few weeks yet. ah and for the record i had pizza and ice cream... so much i felt sick afterwards and had a 5kg shit HAHAHA
 
Well i woke up alittle upset wit myself about the cheat meal last night but i gotta learn from it and move on . I think my body was just in shutdown mode and craved sugar and i gave it , it . I slept last night for 10hrs hours which is very very rare for me so that proves the body just had enough i think .

The way i shouldve handled it was come home and given the body its final meal for the day which was meant to be steak and gone straight to bed ! and i wouldve been fine.

But ah well ill learn from it , not the end of the world :)
 
Well yesterday i was back on track 100% with my diet :) had some sugar cravings throughout the day but just sat down at work with my 3L water bottle and sucked it up :) but def looking forward to one day being allowed cheat meals lol , but ill wiat for 3j to make that call once that time comes.

Be interesting how the cheat meal will impact me come my weigh in monday morning
 
Well weigh in was today and i somehow managed to gain 1.2kg yet photos show me asif i lost fat .. and the body fat caliper indicate that too so not too sure what the go is my guess is its just water . Anyhow here are my stats till now

ok well i have my diary now so will put in what im lifting everday :)

take note this is in KG ,

standing bent bar curls 15x40kg , 8,x50 , 8x60, 5x65 ( unsure what bar weighs so didnt include that)

standing dumbell hammer curls 15x30kg, 8x34, 8 x 40 , 5 x 44 ( each arm)

standing rope straight bar drop setted from 45kg , -7kg each set of 8


overhead rope extensions 15x45kg 15x45kg 10x 45 , 7x55

straight rope pull downs 15 x 35 8 x 38 8 x 38 5 x 40

standing rope drop setted again from 45kg , 8 reps and then down 7kg

did some forearms also but forgot to note down the weights but just did reps of 20

Diet wise today i hit a massive wall around 6pm so just layed in bed resting up till 8 , but i think that was due to me not drinking much water . Ended up having a late gym session at 10pm and pre workout did the trick and gave me energy :)
 
ill never understand how one can just put on weight so easily : / i eat and eat and eat and eat and the scale barely moves even if i lie around and do nothing all day . fml
 
You mean in my case take weight off ? haha

Honestly man , have you tried a 3J diet , ive spend years and years reading stuff on the net and never had the same results as i do with this man , for the price you pay you get PLENTY out of it
 
Today i had stuff all energy , was no carb day so that mightve played a roll also had a shit sleep but did chest session

havnt written here fora week or so , so ill update you alittle bit , 3J told me to add some cardio in to try and speed up weight loss so im doing 30 mins everyday , when i dont have work ill do cardio am , weights pm or vice versa. Got a weigh in tomrrow so ill see how i go :)

wouldnt be suprised if i put on abit since on monday was a stuff up on my behalf , didnt expect to go over a girls house for more then couple hours and then ended up there all day and ended up eating shit all day ... lesson learnt : next time you go over any1s house take food with you haha !
 
As expected today i put on abit of weight and couple MM in the measurments but i think thats just water so im not too phased . Anyhow here are the numbers so far.

I'd be thinking the same thing (water weight) so don't fret over a short term spike on the scale. It will be gone as quickly as it arrived. You're making progress! Leaning-out slowly (IMO) will help you to stay lean for the long run. Your workouts look spot-on and it sounds like you're very disciplined in the gym. With 3Js guiding your diet (yea that sounds like an infomercial...I might as well be at this point :)) no way you can fail.
