4 and a half week trip and no script - what should I do?

I'm 36 years old and for the past months I've been giving myself a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose of 100mg test cyp every 5 days.

My T levels, although classified as "normal" by my doc, were on the low end and I was sick of feeling like crap so that's why I decided to take matters into my own hands. To make a long story short, today I feel great and will eventually try find another doc who will prescribe this for me.

The problem is that because I don't have a script, I cannot legally travel with my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) meds. This hasn't been an issue in the past as the longest time I've been away is 2 weeks but I now have a 4 and a half week trip coming up in the new year and I'm really unsure how best to handle this?

The tough part about it is that my gf will be joining me so needless to say it's not like I want to be dealing with a depleted sex drive!

I know it's not ideal as it will cause my levels to get a bit crazy but would it be OK to blast 1000mg the day I leave so that the test will be active in my system until I get back? I realize the last week could be a bit of an issue but I'll have some cialis on hand for that.

Is this calculator accurate?


I don't mind travelling with a few adex/aromasin/nolva to keep estro under control but really don't want to be carting around a vial and pins.


Only other option I believe I have is to start a post cycle therapy (pct) now but then I run the risk of having a shitty sex drive the whole time (not really an option). Or I can try find another doc who will be willing to give me a prescription before I leave? (ideal but a long shot)

Any other suggestions on how best to handle this??

You said you want to find a doctor to treat you and get a legit script. Go off the T now and let your levels crash while you are traveling. Then meet with your doctor when you return home. I know it is going to suck and the timing is bad; but honestly there is never going to be a good time. Just make sure you have a doctor appt scheduled for the day you get back home so you can get your consult and lab test done without more delays.

You might have to let your girlfriend know about your treatment too so she understands what you are going through.

I appreciate the input and your suggestion and definitely agree that I really need to find a doc that will help me with my TRT.

Unfortunately this is not an option for this trip as this will be a special time away for my girl and I. (I plan on proposing)
Needless to say, the last thing I want to be dealing with is a shot libido and need to figure out a way to somehow get through it.

How about test undecanoate? Would this be an option?
Or a blast before I leave and then proviron/clomid for the last couple weeks to hopefully keep things going ok?

If the travel is domestic, usually the solution is to ship your gear to yourself (to the hotel, whatever). When you get there, go to a drug store and ask for needles. It's legal most places in the US. If they ask questions, tell them you need vitamin b12 injections.

Four and a half weeks is a long time. Your blood levels will come down, but not so far down that you'll be sub-normal. I would seriously caution against hitting a gram of gear to bump you up for the whole trip. A gram of T is a lot, and I guarantee you'll feel like a sexual tyrannosaurus. She will notice the change, which may put you in an awkward situation (but if you're proposing, how is it you haven't told her?). The other thing is, you're being kind of responsible about the dosing (I would prefer you had a doctor helping, but your dosage isn't aggressive, so that's good) -- if you go up to a gram, you'll probably want to legit cycle, which you're not ready for. And nobody should run a first cycle at a gram.

The place to look for online prescriptions is either MaximusHRT or IncreaseMyT. But if your T levels are way up because you're on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) right now, you probably can't get a script for it. I don't know how they work, but those are the guys to turn to.

Personally, I'd just ship the gear to myself.

I would figure out how to bring it with you. You will crash pretty bad in 4 weeks. I have heard of people boiling empty visine bottles and transporting it that way. I am not recommending this my any means, jus throwing it out there. Getting a script is quick and easy though.

most doctors don't understand T levels they think low T is part of aging, so with that I will say call IMT they are a great HRT Clinic, talk to Todd he will do a one on one protocol totally free and he can help you out with a script with one of their Doctors they have on staff, call them now so that you can go safely on your trip

if you are driving I would say do not worry about it bring it. If your flying domestically its a risk that I may or may not take. If I did take that risk i would just bring the bottle then look for needles when you get there or have needles shipped to your location, as flying with needles would be a lot more conspicous than just the bottle. If you are going internationally whether it be driving to cananda or flying wherever I would not even think about it. You may get away with it, but if you dont you may not get into the country you want to visit or get back, which would really ruin your trip.

I would think blasting 1000mg would be a huge mistake for one you probably wont be able to effectively manage gyno while on it, at least not right away, could be dangerous, and lastly I would think after 10 days or so, you would be feeling the worst you have ever had.

I know you probably know it and dont want to beat a dead horse, but what your doing is really really not a favor, you have no baseline nothing judge on what you are doing, and who knows where you gear is coming from. Depends on how much time you have maybe IMT can help you out and get you something legal before the trip. But brining a class III drug or really any persctiption oversees is bringing a huge risk on yourself if its not legally yours.

To answer a few of the questions asked:

I do have somewhat of a cycle history. I have dabbled with higher doses when I was in my 20's. Never up to 1000mg but I have run a few cycles so blasting before I go away wouldn't be my "first time" upping the dose. It has been quite some time though.

I live in Canada and I am travelling to Europe and Africa. I will be staying with family for most of my trip so don't really want to mail gear or needles etc. to their home. I also don't really feel like travelling through customs with anything I don't have a script for. That said, I do have some Androgel that was given to me by a buddy of mine. Maybe that would be a little less conspicuous and would tie me over.

I would love to talk to IMT or MaximusHRT but living in Canada I don't believe their services are available. Or are they?

I guess I'm just looking for the best possible solution to tie me over for this trip. It's important for me to try keep my crash to a minimum and to keep my libido up. I still have about 6 weeks before I leave so maybe I'll try out a couple more docs and hopefully I'll find one willing to help.

Would sustanon be an option for me? If I were to pin say 500mg the day I leave will it have me feeling "OK" for most of my trip and I could use the androgel for the last couple weeks to bolster things?

Perfect. You have Androgel. Get enough for the trip. For God's sake you won't get busted for it. Then when you get back stop cold turkey, get tested ten days later after a few nights of no sleep and plenty of booze. Your T levels will be shit, get some legal T. Androgel is not estered, so its half life is really short. That way when you stop it your T levels will fall off a cliff and your natty production won't have time to kick back in.

Summary: Go legal, say goodbye to all of these problems.

one thing about androgel, i have been on it and many others will probably tell you the same thing. It worked ok for a week then a total crash. As far as dosing if you start out at the standard 2 pumps a day a bottle will last 30 days. If you go up to 4 pumps a day which most people have to do to get anything out of it its two bottles every 30 days. Obvisouly the more pumps the more bottles.

Try to find some Nebido (testosterone undecanoate) if possible and you should be go to go. I beleive that the long-acting ester will last up to 10 weeks. Also, are you travelling through the UK?

Oh believe me. I've been trying. This stuff can't be had anywhere unfortunately. Very frustrating.

There is a very good chance that in Africa that you can just go to a pharmacy and buy some T. You won't need a prescription. Just pay cash and you can often buy whatever you want. Europe is a different story, but you should be able to get hooked up in Africa. Just find a pharmacy that follows good safety protocols so you get quality T.

This is an option but seems very scary to me specially with all the fakes out there. I think its come down to two logical solutions either get a script or dont do it. To much at stake legally or health wise. I understand the need to make it special Ive been there, but is it worth sick or getting arrested for 4 weeks. You have to ask yourself those questions. I mean whos to know whats legit in africa.
