50 mg clomid tab.............

I wanted to ask what you guys think of cutting 50 mg tabs of clomid in half in order to dose 25 mg ED.
Is it ok to cut tab or does it mess with the releasing mechanism in pill ?
Dose is 150 mg week divided in 3 doses (50 mg EOD)
Maybe taking 25 mg ED is better with Estradiol management/fluctuations ???
Whats your take on this guys?

I would cut it down to 25mg ED. yes, you can cut those tabs. Maybe I missed it in a previous thread by why did you decide to restart Apollon?

I hit 550 ng/dl on HCG....
Never took more than 1500 I.u. week too...
Which is a lot of HCG..
Just want to see what my body can do.

For the record I have never tried an official restart.
This is unchartered territory for me.
I'm familiar with all meds effects/reactions in regards to TRT except clomid.
Never used it beford. I have my DIM and zinc here and ready to rumble.

Thanks Ben..
I'm thinking that 25 mg ED dosage will keep E2 lower as well?

I would agree and say that it should help keep E2 at a lower, more stable level but as we have learned in the TRT game, there are no guarantees with hormone levels. Looking forward to seeing your labs with Clomid.

Considering Clomiphenes half-life is roughly 5-7 days I would not think it would make much difference dosing ED or EOD... much like Adex, for examples sake, .25mg ED vs .5mg EOD.

Who knows.....
U actually get 25 mg more per week if you go 25 mg ED
Total would be 175 mg/week (on the 25 mg ED dose)
50 mg Mon, Wednesday, Friday totals to 150 mg.
I just dont want to feel like crap making the transition from HCG mono to clomid.
I have no idea if T will decline a bit before it starts to climb ( if it does)

I know stane has a shorter half-life in men, 9 hrs, comapred to 24 hrs in women... I have always wondered why and if and what other drugs have different half-lives in males/females.

Apollon, if this is true, maybe just go with 25mg ED AFAIK Clomid is not something that needs to be taken in pill form (some medications I believe do need to be, Modanafinil comes to mind if I am not mistaken)... It is available as an RC don't forget (Clomid). Plus it means you will get the extra 25mg per week... What's the worst that could happen?

However, this is the first time I have ever heard of Clomid having a shorter half-life in men... It took me about a week to notice the shitty side effects it causes me begin to dissipate.

What dose were you on?
You are saying the negative side effects subsided after a week while still using clomid, or you had to stop clomid entirely ?

Good luck buddy! That was around the same level I was at on after the fourth week of my HCG mono. As you know I took 50 mg of Clomid everyday for 30 days and had good results.

Apollon, I was able to get my test up to over 800 doing 25mg a day for only 3 or 4 weeks.
BTW, how is your restart going?
