Hi all,
I've been following this forum for a while as an anonymous reader and have recently decided to create an account so I can start participating in discussions.
I'm going to start with some background information about my training experience then move on to ask my question.
I'm 28 years old (5 months shy of 29), 5' 6", and currently weigh 167.5 at 10.5% BF.
I've worked out for 2 years when I was 18, stopped for university, and have been working out for the past 4 years and a few months. Over the course of my training I've seen my weight go up from around 125 Lbs to my current 167.5 Lbs.
I try to change workouts every 4 months (6 at most if its going well with no plateaus). The biggest plateau I've hit was last spring when my weight refused to climb anymore beyond 155. After a drastic change of workout, diet, and using a new workout partner (my height, weighs in at 194 Lbs, pretty built) I saw my weight move up to 167.5 Lbs. I can probably make it go up close to 175 Lbs or 180 Lbs, I had to take around 10 days off starting sometime last week though because I got hit with the wonderful virus that is H1N1. Today is my first fever-less day and I think I will be pumping iron in the next couple of days.
Now on to my question. Having established what you have about me, would you think that its time for me to give AAS a try and see where it takes me? My goal is to hit 185 Lbs or 190 Lbs at 7% to 8% BF.
Thanks for your time, and answers.
