just curious PB - any specific movements to strengthen the quads ? I'm already doing box squats slightly above parallel.

PL: it's disappointing to see such a disparity between two sports that have a lot in common. $450,000&car as opposed to $5500

I have to disagree with you about Ronnie though. The guy is an inspiration - no arguments. His physique is tremendous. Freaky. Yes. But compared to the physiques of Dexter Jackson, Haider and a couple of others, its not refined. Too bulky for a BB.

It all depends on what school of thought you subscribe to - the trend of bigger and increasingly freaky BBs, or to the 1970s/80s "smaller" but much refined physiques of Arnold and camp. I'm of the latter school of thought.

squats done with proper form strengthen the quads better than any other movement. do your box squats about 2" below parallel if you trying to build hole shot power. i never understood doing anything above parallel. =0)

to be honest i could care less about BBing. if i had to pick a body style though the bigger guys impress me more. and if ronnie is only the 4th best looking guy in the world thats still incredible. my hats off to him for his work ethic and training style.
