p90x.

Thanks both.
Just looking at p90x now, ill give it a go, also bought a skipping rope so that should get me sweating...

do you know if it matters if i dont exercise straight after taking ephedrine or is it ok to exercise a few hours later??

Agree with jumping rope. Unless you are in decent shape you might have to start with pretty low duration--3 mins then rest 90 sec then again 3 min etc to build up the endurance. It is tough at least for me.

Can you find a gym with a decent child care program? It is usually reasonably priced and my kids have fun there so I dont feel guilty about leaving them.

I just can't really get into it at home. If you are serious about it sign up at a good gym with people that look like you want to look and do the stuff at home. Good bodies don't just happen in your spare time or between comercials.

Also, unless you are lean and looking to get super ass lean drop the thermogenic and get diet cardio and weights dialed in. There is no substitute for the trifecta.

Thanks nate212,

No gyms with child care around my area... :(

I can do about 5 mins skipping then have a few seconds rest, im getting better ...

I need to lose fat but i also want to gain a little muscle...I like to workout at home and i have the willpower to do it.
My diet is good, 1000/1200 calories a day....may not be enough i dont know, but ephedrine suppresses appetite so i have to remind myself to eat sometimes....

Welcome ! :)

P90X is a good choice, what's your height/weight & how much are you trying to loose ? Working out at home can be challenging, but if you really have your mind set, you can make it work, if you can invest in a Treadmill, you can do your cardio (walking/or intervals run/walk), you can even use your 2 year old to work on your arms...lol Lifting him up & down (I'm sure he'll enjoy it)...
You might be eating too little cals/1,000 is pretty low... start loging everything you eat so you can keep an accurate record of how many cals/carbs/protein your eating, a good site to do this is (fitday.com), also check out of diet forum, you'll find all the info you need to better your diet..

Good luck !

^^^ 1200 cal is pretty stinking low unless you are *tiny*. It is imperitive you know within 100 cal or so exactly how much you are taking in and what your BMR is.

To bad the baby is 2, breast feeding burns around 600 additional calories a day, helps women lose extra weight after having kids.

Pushups and pull ups are great. You can get pull up devices that hang on door jams. Problem is most women (and way to man men) do not have upper body strngth to do even a single rep. You can still use a chair and jump up then lower real slow.

Keep looking for a gym though

Breastfeeding is great, I breastfeed my youngest until she was one, with my pregnancies I gained about 25-30 lbs & lost it pretty fast, getting your body back in shape is the hard part.

Iwish,
You definitely have to hit the cardio at least 30 minutes, (at least 3-4 times a week) also drink plenty of water (at least 1 gallon), you can buy a jogging stroller & go jogging with your son in a park close by, You'll be in the outdoors wich helps distract your mind. :)

lol im far from tiny...

i breastfed him for a year, cant say it realy helped tho...
i have no upperbody strength, tho my leggs r pretty strong, my bf says iv got rediculously strong leggs... he likes to think hes a ufc champ so tryes moves out on me but i alway get him in leg locks and he has to tap out...lol :laugh4:

Ok, never mind about the chin ups, wait till you are lighter it would be depressing now.

Get rid of the processed food, the fresher the better. Must know how much you are taking in every day. Not just a good day but every day. Got to get heart rate up 130-140 for 30 min 5 day/week.

I would realy drop the ephedrine for now.

Mrs P I did't know you had kids--f'ing HOT that is great. Really impressive work. My wife is still feeding our second and she dropped down pre weight of 120 real fast but only gained 25 too. Your abs look fan-fuckin-tastic!
