A Year on TRT, wanting to cycle, what are my options?

I've been on TRT (Pellets) 900mg per quarter for over a year now. I have not touched a cycle in 2 years now or visited this forum in possibly that long. I am really interested in seeing what my options for a cycle would be. Is there anyone who has combined a cycle with their TRT? What are your opinions? What should I investigate?

I am 180 lbs soaking wet at 5'10. I've lost a great deal of muscle the last 2 years and I would like to feel more like a man again. Any help on this subject is greatly appreciated.

Blasting while on TRT is common. You have to be able to do it between Dr visits. You don't want to go in with Test levels sky high.

You've loss muscle? Are you still lifting? Whats your age? If your not lifting I wouldn't jump into the fire with a blast just yet. That can cause a lot of joint and muscle issues.

On TRT you shouldn't feel less than a man... 900mg per quarter is 300mg per month or 75mg per week... I doubt that's enough to get you to reasonable levels. Do you have any peak or trough readings for TT?

well, the fact that im less than i was is the feeling i have to be specific. my serum levels were actually quite good before the last 2 quarterlies, over 700. those tests were performed 3 weeks before each injection.

Your blast looks pretty good to me, just remember to come back down a good 5-6 weeks before your next blood test just to be sure you don't pop high.

Not gonna lie, the thought of pellets makes me cringe! I saw a few videos on it, and yeeeeeesh that looks gruesome! But I guess as long as it's working for you, that's fantastic. :)

Why the clomid if you're going back to TRT?

the pellets are the best TRT IMO. i've tried the annoying daily gel squirts on my shoulder, but my body wasn't absorbing it. the oil based injections weren't bad, but i was up and down too much causing me to be tired and moody. the pellets are good bc i can get stable and that's important for me. the injections are a little painful for a couple days but worth it for the 4 months. thanks bro

yea i guess i should have stated that. i'm trying to have a baby, so with the TRT and the cycle i'd like to try and get what i can out of the sperm production return. it may not have an effect, but i'm not expert, maybe it will?

Not to quibble, but I thought we were talking about quarterly doses... every 3 months?

In that case I would definitely look into adding HCG.

i did say that huh, pellets are every 4 months (stupid insurance) and not quarterly now that i'm thinking of it. the last month is always a little tougher tbh. it may be in my mind (probably is), and I've asked for supplemental shots after the 3 week blood test. even though the tests were showing good results.

Get your testosterone levels to 700-1000 ng/dl. Estradiol to 20-30. You can add a compound to your base TRT dosage or increase your TRT dosage, but you are doing butt pellets so that's not really feasible. The other advantage of keeping your trt dosage the same is that your Test levels will be the same if you get any blood work.

If you are trying to have a baby, clomid and hcg will greatly increase spermatogenesis and increase fertility. I even read some studies where Masteron was used to treat infertility and it worked. The injections could have had you up and down because of fluctuating estradiol levels, or you weren't injecting often enough. Something like test enanthate you could do x1 or x2 a week and be solid. The other possibility is that you have a very unique metabolism but i doubt it's that. I would definitely look into going back to injections. They are cheap, easy to adjust and work better.

@ps Hcg works better to PREVENT testicular atrophy, but it will still wake up the cells that produce sperm. You can keep taking it once you have a child to maintain fertility. Hcg is not too expensive either and has other benefits. It can increase aromatase activity in the testes, which make up 20% of the total estradiol in your body. So keep an eye on that. The rest is manufactured in fat cells, skin, brain, etc. Aromatase is ESSENTIAL to fertility. Males born with a defect in the aromatase gene are infertile. They have really high testosterone levels, and grow really tall.
