AAS cause enlarging of the heart ?

2 years ago I had a heart transplant due to an enlarged heart. I was on a lot of test and tren at the time. The docs said it was probably a virus that caused my situation though. I know a couple of guys from the forums that died due to heart related issues while on a shitload of test. No way of knowing what really causes it. Could be genetics too

Wow. Heart transplant is high risk - sounds like you are doing well. Good to hear.

If you don't mind me asking what was your AAS history and age?

Trying to get a feel if 20 years of AAS cycle or 2 years of AAS lead to a heart transplant. Also you say the docs thought it was a virus, did they know of your AAS history ?

Never Ever--Shovel was referring to ( if u don t mind Shovel ) cycle correctly as in cycle- on then pct after proper wait time then off as long as u were on.

I may add that STRESS is also a real mitigating factor to many maladies relevant to heart deceases and subsequent failure. AAS are not for worry worts or those who are prone to hypo condriaic tendencies or feint of heart lol.... as if u read the government propaganda, pharmaceuticals b/s profit driven mind set and use AAS not abuse AAS , take care of the loose ends bloods can reveal and stay as close to the "ranges"...you ll be fine.

If the thought u MAY enlarge your heart such that you may DIE using gear...don t.

Yeah they knew. I'd been on for five years straight and quit cold turkey in the hospital. I was 36 when this happened

pretty much my point. How can someone say that if they are worried about their heart enlarging from A AS use, that they aren't concerned about the end result of that being death? Or what is someone going to corilate heart enlargment to? Neeeding to build a broader chest so as to make sure their bigger heart fits in it ok? Damn sure aren't thinking about dandilions & lollipops whilst wondering if their heart is enlarging....just sayin. Keep it together folks, everything will be ok.....or it won't. Whichever, live right & enjoy.

I agree completely - when it's your time, it's your time.

When doing extensive research before starting TRT, I didn't come across enlarged heart as a risk factor. Enlarged heart is more related to running cycles than TRT from my research.

With that said, It's all about being educated with the risks, and mitigating them accordingly - donating blood, monitoring E2, taking an AI, monitoring BP, etc.

enlarged heart cannot be mitigated, other than monitoring BP - and that doesn't guarantee anything.

Heart disease runs in my family - grandfather had triple bypass at 65 and lots of stints thereafter. The enlarged heart risk just has me concerned.

I know, I know - "maybe AAS isn't for you". I'm going to finish this 8 week blast and see what happens (gains).

Your good brother. Main point is don't spend time worrying too much as a lot of points made in this thread give good reason not to. Your approach to these things seems pretty wise, you've done your homework & I'd guess your taking care of your health to the best of your ability. Enjoy being on TRT, blast wisely from time to time...make the best of it. Guide guys here & there that need it. Lifes too short.

True that.
