on squat and dead days i hit heavy rope crunches for 10 reps or weighted crunch machine..one thing i notice people dont train their abs like its a muscle they always use the same weight or no weight..im not sure what they are expecting since we all now heavier weight to get stronger and simply doing crunches will not give u a 6 pack..you need diet and cardio for that!!
Every workout:
#1 bicycle crunches
#2 crunches with legs extended straight to the ceiling
#3 exercise ball crunches
#4 leg/knee raises
First I start off with the bicycle crunches kinda as a pre fatigue. Then I superset straight leg crunches with the exercise ball crunches. I finish the workout with some kind of lower ab movement.
I do 3 sets of each with minimal rest.
I just started this routine and have been doing really good with my development!
