Abdominal Bloat / Protrusion

Looking for some feedback / thoughts on what the cause of fairly severe abdominal bloat may be.

I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for about 3 years now. Current therapy is 300mgs of test cyp (weekly), 250 units of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) (every other day), and 1mg of Anastrozol (3 times a week).

Bloating started about a year or so ago. No pain. I just look incredibly "full" all of the time. It is not squishy like a typically fat stomach would be. It is actually really tight and hard. I actually asked my doctor for a cat scan. Everything came back normal. Also, no bloat anywhere else. Last blood work had estrogen at 17.

I have read where Anastrozol has caused some to experience stomach bloating.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Any ideas on cause?

Appreciate any feedback...

Did the CT scan show that your digestive system had and backup etc? I just had one done last week and saw my gastro guy this morning. Mine was for prescribed for something else but I do have similar sounding bloat. Curiuos to see what others have to say.

Ya, part of the reason I had my done was because they thought I had divroticulitis (sp?) because of some pain I had... Everything looked ok. Doc is not worried about it, but I know this not normal for me... And, pain subsided, and was unrelated. Now, no pain, just bloat, and just in abdomen...

Couple things. Is it up high? A swollen liver can do that, but would probably be obvious on blood tests for liver function. Second, if you have an active case of diverticulitis, you will know it. It will probably be in your descending colon, on the lower left hand side of your abdomen. You will feel like you have to shit all the time, even though you don't. You ever get kicked in the nuts? It feels like that pretty much 24/7. Ask me how I know....lol. I was first diagnosed with it at 33. Thankfully, some high powered antibiotics takes care of it (for me) within 24 hours. Once the infection subsides, I don;t feel any pain or anything noticeable. Hope that helps!

it is up high, but not painful or sensitive. liver tests have been ok. sometimes borderline high, but generally speaking ok. CT scan came back with normal liver. i've been over the divroticulitis for awhile (per original post). interesting though - i've cut back on anastrozol, and it does appear to have reduced some. and, my energy seems to have increased. maybe estrogen was too low? could just be mental...

I feel my belly is distended as well, but no pain or discomfort..interested in hearing what other have to say..
