? about pain on bone next to top of trap

I feels like a bruise or a knot not a strain or a pull. It's right on top of my shoulder girdle. It pisses me off cause when I do dumbell work the muscle group doesn't fail it's this bruising pain that makes me stop my reps. Anybody else had this?
 
its probably the AC joint. Mine is giving me hell at the moment.
There are three ligaments there that join the clavicle to the scapula. these are commonly injured in a fall with the arm outstretched or similarly doing heavy pressing movements ( like bench).
I was just going to post for some help on this today. I'm trying to find some exercises to help recovery, but I'd put my money on the best thing being rest.

rest is what i fiqured maybe also takin a hand pulley on a crossover and going in front real light and slow
 
I've been doing DC's shoulder stick work(for lack of a better name) which is probably more suited to RC injuries, and felt like I was getting better until I was a dickhead and ME benched yesterday.
Now its even worse

where have you been hiding spikey?
