accidently had the needle half way out whilst injecting...

Okay so today was jabbing my damn arse day. ( right buttocks )

I sorta picked a spot where I had to twist around a bit more so i could get that spot.. it felt quite awkward.
As I was aspirating with one hand I moved a lot which sorta hurt.. then as I started injecting I think because of the position I was in made me slowly pull out the needle a bit. Think I sorta bent over a little was thinking maybe if I flexed my arse glutes it would help...but no it didn't it hurt like fuck and I think that pushed the needle out. I pulled out quicker then I ever did and it's an 1.5 inch needle which was strange then I realised half the needle was already out as I was shooting it in. Blood immediately dripped all down my leg and I fell like a lump where I pinned. Does that mean that the test was injected to close to the surface of the skin? Is it wasted?

i wouldn't say it was totally wasted, maybe some spilled out sub q maybe some down your leg. try if you havent yet to look up proper inj technique

+1 you really need to educate yourself on injections.

No not wasted at all, i have done this b efore to im sure everyone one time or another have messed up injecting. It just meens that it may take a little longer to start working and it may not dispurse as fast so u mayget a weaker but longer lasting shot . I wouldnt do this on purpuse because stable blood levels are what we all go for . Hope this helped dave
