Adderall and Haloti Ngata

With the recent suspension of Haloti Ngata for substance abuse, the rumor mill got going and some people are claiming that adderall is a masking agent for steroid use.

Is that accurate?

How can an amphetamine mask a distinct hormone metabolite? Unless you're referring to clenbuterol, which isn't a steroid, but is a banned substance.

Edit: I just looked into the story. It was adderall that he took, for the effects of the stimulant. Has nothing to do with AAS at all.
